A bad Deal

Third person pov:

Guilia, who had never had to work her entire life, was both excited and scared. Today was her big day, but it felt empty. Maybe she was overwhelmed by the deal, or maybe it was the fact that Xavier hadn’t called since they last called. She expected him to leave her a cute message, but each time she checked her phone it was as bare.

“This man might be bad for my mental health, after all,” she said as she pulled up in front of the warehouse.

Cars were littered everywhere, and a good number of men were all dressed in black. These men differed from her dad’s men—they belonged to the white-scarred Mafia. This caused a wave of uneasiness to hit her, but she shook it off.

“You’ve got this, Guilia. You are your father’s daughter,” she said to herself, looking into the mirror.

Someone came forward to open her door.

“Good day, Ms. Guilia,” the man in a black suit said, stretching out his hand.
