When I opened my eyes, he was there next to me. I am so close to wrapping my arms around him despite the fact that I believe things from our shared history indicate that we are not on good terms.

When I came to, my head was in a lot of pain. Despite this, I was still able to stand up straight and proceeded directly to the location of the restroom, where I changed out of my clothes. When I stopped and glanced at Ares' enormous frame, he was not wearing any clothing and was still soundly sleeping on our bed.

There is something that I have that was nagging at me to go and wake him up, but I didn't move at all. Instead, I ventured out into the world all by myself and witnessed the dawn of a new day.
