Mariana Adams' Point of View
Unlike the few girls that have been bought by these men, my bidding started at a jaw-dropping amount. I never thought that a mere, simple girl like me would start bidding at $20,000 in an underground black market like this.
"Her name is Mariana. As you can see, she's fresh… never been touched and completely a maiden. Our girl for the night is her, and the bidding will start at the amount flashed on the screen."
Even if the emcee was still talking, many people began to raise their cards. The first one who raised was an old man with an amount of $30, 000 until people inside began to become crazy bidding for a high possible amount in order to claim me.
Most of them were old people who had a huge tummy and an unpleasant appearance. I wanted to cry and run away from them but upon reckoning about what happened to the girl earlier made me freeze.
"$100,000 dollars, $135,000! $200,000 going once, going twice!"
The crowd began to become aggressive. I could see each and everyone's desire to have me but most of them looked like a maniac.
I was just looking down, hearing the jaw-dropping amount they are willing to bid just to have me not until the bidding went up to million. A man who's in his 60's came, betting almost a million dollars which made the crowd silent.
He was standing as there was a huge smirk on his face. My world turned upside down seeing a man who was almost five feet tall standing with a beard on his face, a white hair and a huge tummy, exactly what I was thinking!
"A million dollars!" the emcee spoke out. "This is the first time that our arena heard a million dollar bidding!"
I lost hope. No one dared to oppose the old man as a massive amount like that is too much for a mere girl like me. Tears trickled down my face, playing with my fingers as I tried to avoid the man's filthy stares on my body.
"Alright, then. This girl beside me has been sold for a million dollars! The bidding has been officially—"
The emcee was trailed off when a man spoke.
"Ten million dollars, let me have her!"
My world stopped spinning upon hearing a resonant baritone voice inside the arena. His deep, manly tone echoed in the arena, making the man who bet his one million dollar glanced at the tall, lean and handsome man opposed.
Unlike them, he looked like a Greek God. He was standing at the back, on the second floor whilst a man was beside him.
All my life, I have never seen a drop-dead gorgeous man like him. He was awfully far from the person I expected to buy me. Fortunately, God almighty heard what I was praying for and saved me from this man's sinisterness.
"Sold for ten million dollars! The bidding is now officially closed!"
Everyone was hissing, talking about what just occured. He went down the stairs with a glass of wine in his hand. He was walking toward where we are and here I am, mesmerized with his God-like beauty.
Surprisingly, something within me recognizes him when I look at him this intently. I suppose I've seen him before, but I'm not sure where or when.
"Please proceed with our accountant, Mr. Lamiento. We'll just fix her documents as you have to sign some papers and after that, you can now go home with her."
I'm not positive whether I should accompany him or not. These men using my hands were tugging me the entire time, which perturbed me. The signing process was instantaneous since the man who bought me had the upper hand and it had paid an additional substantial amount of money to prioritize him above other clients.
"You really didn't disappoint us, Mr. Lamiento. Likewise," said by the man before hoisting his hand for a handshake after the signing process.
Mr. Lamiento glanced at me and then accepted his hand.
"You know my taste, Cadis."
After the signing process, I was now transferred as his pet. His men didn't dare to touch me but instead, they asked me to hop inside an SUV, refusing to lay their finger unlike those men earlier.
Whilst the car was moving, I reckoned what just happened. Yesterday, I was just meeting with my boyfriend until I was captured, got into an auction and sold to an anonymous man I don't know.
He has a lot of men wearing full black attire and two more cars behind and in front. Bet his bodyguards.
"Can you just b-bring me back to my h-house?" I spoke, breaking the silence creeping inside the car.
His arms was on the window whilst his fingers were on his chin as his legs were crossed. He looked like a heavy, big boss.
The man clicked his tongue, smirked at me which sent shivers down my spine.
"I won't waste fucking millions just to free you, woman. You will serve your purpose to me," he spoke out using his thunderbolt tone.
I moved on my seat and then spoke. "P-Purpose? What kind of p-purpose?"
"You will know."
"B-But I want to…" I was derailed off.
His head twirled as his eyes glared, giving me a frigid stare and stone-hard voice. "Enough."
Funny how this man made me halt just by saying a single word. And I can't distinguish whether to become thankful or not. The man was heavily guarded and knew to myself he wasn't just an ordinary man. His presence was far from everyone I met. The first time I laid my eyes on her, my knees trembled and went feeble.
The power this man's holds was compelling. I am sure of that.
I was just biting my lower lip as I played with my fingers, trying to adapt myself whilst I stood at the center of the house where I have been transferred. As I drifted my eyes at the man, he didn't try to talk with me again but instead, a maid came out of nowhere and then glanced at me.
"Assist her inside her room. I'm tired," the man viciously stated.
The maid nodded her head as her boss began to loosen his tie whilst going upstairs, taking off his coat and his top one-by-one.
That night, I thought that dealing and persuading him would be easy but I never imagined that a person like him wouldn't dare to pull the trigger on someone who refused to obey him. Those starting days I was here, I tried to oppose, to plead to him but none of these methods worked.
Mariana Adams' Point of ViewI had been inside my room for a while, doing nothing more than relaxing, when for some reason I got the idea to call Ares. To tell you the truth, I was merely attempting to call him so that I could fill him in on what had transpired today and let him know that I had seen Lorenzo. Ares' phone rang a few times, and then he picked it up and pretended he wasn't busy when he answered it. "Hey, he seems to have a bit of pep in his step." "Did something take place?" he queried. While I was supine on my bed, I pursed my lips into a pout. "Nothing, baby. I just got off the phone with you…""Have you been thinking about me already? I warned you that you shouldn't go, and you should have just stayed—" I got him to back off by laughing a little bit first. "Oh, love, you're just too much. Put an end to your ruminating. I'm doing well, and I wanted to let you know that I phoned because I'm aware of how much you adore me.""That is, to some extent, true. Now, tell me,
After they had finished shouting in unison, "Let's pay for it!" she came over to me and greeted me with a friendly smile.I got up to speak, and after that I gave the remarks I had prepared. "Is there nothing else besides this that you are interested in purchasing? Do you not have anything else that you would like to purchase?"I'm starting to feel pretty worn out, and I can't wait to get back to my house and take a nap. What do you say? Should we go ahead and do that? Nothing! Let's put that behind us and head out to the store to pick up some provisions. I'm starting to feel pretty worn out, and I can't wait to get back to my house and take a nap."I took my cousin's hand as we made our way toward the register, and after a moment I leaned my head back and rested it on her shoulders. After that, we were very close to our destination! I was successful in completing each of these steps. You shouldn't be too concerned because I will be spending some time with you in this location; is tha
Mariana Adams' Point of ViewI told her that I would give her the yellow dress that I had seen hanging outside of the store, and I told her that I would give it to her for free. She asked me why she should try it, and I told her, "Why don't you give it a shot?"Despite the fact that this was a store that specialized in selling clothing at low prices, it is abundantly clear that each and every item in this shop is of an exceptionally high standard. When Ares purchased a large quantity of clothing for me from a variety of different fashion brands, I requested that he purchase clothing for me from each of those brands. When I saw how well preserved all of these garments are, I couldn't help but reflect on how unlucky it is for me to be in the position that I am.She made some inquiries about it, and one of the questions she asked was, "Mariana, are you one hundred percent sure that you're going to buy each and every one of the items that I'll put into my shopping cart?" Her tone communic
Mariana Adams' Point of ViewIt should not have come as a surprise that Fatima did not confirm anything. Fatima did not get in the taxi with us until after we had already left this location; however, she did not stop walking alongside me during this time. In other words, she did not get in the taxi with us until after we had already left this location. On the other hand, whenever I tried to think about something else, my mind kept going back to the car that was parked outside so close to our apartment building. When I looked in the rearview mirror and saw the man's face, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that it was Emman because I had seen him before. I had recognized him immediately. He was hidden from the view of the general public. My cousin and I have been talking, and ever since I walked in the door, our mutual cousin has been standing outside the house. We are in a terrible position, but we have no choice but to get out of the house right away because we have commitments elsew
Mariana Adams’ Point of View When I got back to Italy, I went grocery shopping so that Fatima wouldn't form any incorrect assumptions about anything, and I also took advantage of the opportunity to catch up on some reading. Because I do not intend to put any of the things that I purchased during that time period to use, I came to the conclusion that the best course of action would be to give the clothing to her rather than keep it in my closet. Ares gave me an enormous cabinet and stocked it with clothing that he had specifically purchased for me and placed inside the cabinet. He also provided me with the cabinet itself. If I'm being entirely truthful with you, I have a thing for fashion, but I'm not particularly obsessed with collecting things at all.She yelled after Fatima, "Good heavens, Fatima! Have I not previously instructed you to get rid of all of these outdated and worn-out items of clothing? I have only just now brought up the fact that we are currently situated within her
Mariana Adams' Point of ViewEverything brings back fond memories. The door to our flat had a crack in it when we got home. I could even remember how I constantly tell Fatima to close it whenever she comes or when she returns. I could say that whenever she comes or when she returns. Depending on how you look at it, today's opening could have been either of the two. The entirety of our apartment is filled with an eerie quiet that I haven't experienced in quite some time. Ares fled as soon as he caught sight of me approaching the building through the gate. I wasn't sure if Fatima was here, but looking at the calendar and seeing that it's a school day, I'm guessing she left for class. The fact that the gate was opened all the way, though, is what has left me feeling even more dumbfounded. When I saw the door, I instinctively bit the lower part of my lip. Our grandma used to greet us at the door each time we went to school and wait for us outside until we left; however, she is not ther
