Chapter 4 Fascinating Business
Arius Accardo,
I saw her retreating figure through the door, leaning in my chair. She disobeyed me, no one dared to do that to me. First time in my life, I faced denial, but it’s very frustrating to know that I wasn’t offended and didn’t feel the urge to kill her, but it was refreshing for me, from her.
The way she was going through all files neatly and reading them carefully, I thought she came to steal the information. I should have already found out that, when she wasn’t professional in her work. She didn’t even notice that I was standing behind her so close that I could hear her muffled breathing.
I looked at her photo on her ID card, which was hooked on her left side of her skirt. I smirked at the thought that she assumed I was touching her with some wrong intentions, taking advantage of her.
She had a hell of body. I would like to take advantage of it, but I have a huge share of women who are willingly coming to me. I still remember the way she was glaring at me with sharpness, holding in her honey brown eyes like a dagger wanting to stab me with it.
She called me a pervert. What a cute way to cuss someone, but her lips parted in surprise when she found out that I was her boss, but still her glare didn’t subside a bit. That was something new to me.
I was amazed for a second; she was glaring at me with hate oozing through her eyes but still radiated her impeccable beauty around and she was wearing a simple black skirt up to her knees matched with a light blue colored blouse
She was dressed professionally, not like the women who came to pick me up. I thought, I have seen her before anywhere. Maybe she was one of my whores, but the way she was behaving showed that she wasn’t.
She had Goosebumps all over hands when I caught her hand in mine. It was feathery soft under rough of mine, so no chance that she ever used any knife or any gun. She didn’t react to my comment to her in Italian, showing that she didn’t understand Italian.
She felt very familiar to me but we were meeting for the first time, making me feel anxious. To make sure of that doubt, I smelled her and as expected; she smelled like known but still unknown to me. It was strange to me, which I don’t understand.
Meeting her made me curious for some reasons, creating some kind of space in me and developing an urge to fill it with something which I don’t aware of.
She shuddered under me. I wasn’t expecting her to be this innocent; she shivered under my minor accidental touch, and her face was on fire. She was hardly controlling her breathing in my proximity.
Her reactions to my touch were so refreshing for my mind that I felt like it had happened a moment ago. What’s so captivating in her flushed red face that I had to take a moment to admire it? Without my consent.
Her denial to call me capo and her insistence to call her Miss. Davis was something interesting. Her every move was making me curious of her, enjoy drawing me into her.
Well, I can say that I found a toy to play with until I finish my work here. The toy I know, how to manipulate and make it dance around me according to my wish.
I am always surrounded by hot, cunning, trained and seductive nature women. Let’s see how much joy it will bring by playing with these graceful, and gorgeous women.
I think I will really enjoy breaking her down. She will be a great entertainer for me until I complete my work here. I had to come to Miami, as I found out that we are losing our control over Florida in drug supply.
We use paintings as tools to transport drugs from one place to another; it’s less suspicious as people only see the colors on it instead of their back and frames, where we load our cocaine and heroin, in thin layers.
We never get caught in transporting art material, as they get delivered in Florence. But from last month’s shipment, we found one painting blank with no cocaine.
Someone already emptied it, or they replaced it. Whoever it is, he just dug his own grave and I am definitely going to fulfill his wish.
We use Accardo hotels to hide our business transactions and convert all black money into white. Last CEO was doing a good job at it but one of our over smart and nosey employees found out the missing connections from different sheet files.
Which lead him to complain to Padre (Father) and had to come here to regain our control over company and drug business, leaving a search of Aria in hands of Nicole. I know that bastard tries his best, but the thing from nearly 18 years ago will be difficult to dig out.
My chain of thoughts broke as I heard the knock on the door and that airport girl who came to pick me up entered, holding a cup of coffee in her hand, swaying her hips in the air, what an ignorant girl but it will work.
“Your coffee, sir.” She walked further towards me, and kept coffee in front of me on the desk while bending down to show her cleavage to me, holding desires in her eyes. I very well know that look. She is waiting for me to make a move.
She tried to smile sweetly as I pushed my chair a little far from desk to create space between me and desk, as she stood up and walked slowly highlighting her long legs which she was trying to brush in the car.
I came exactly in front of me and turned her body towards the desk and started keeping a few files in order, which were left open when I banged Elena’s fragile neck.
Her whole body went rigid as I banged it pretty hard. Even her eyes went slightly watery when she pushed me back with her tiny hands.
“Sir, you have an introductory presentation in your schedule and then you are free for the rest of the day.” Her sugary and extra longing voice made me come out of my thoughts about her. She arranged all the files neatly on the desk and turned to me, keeping her hands on both sides of the chairs.
“And then?” I asked with my usual haughty tone and stood up from my chair, towering over her at my height. My just minor move made her realize who the boss here is and she must not forget why she was here in front of me. Fear was clear in her eyes as she covered a little and took a step back immediately.
I held her arm and yanked her towards me. Her eyes widened with my sudden change in demeanor, showcasing her disbelief. She even faked her smile to suppress her fear. I know very well what you are trying to do, Barbie.
“Just do what you get a paycheck for, Understood?” She was so terrified that she pressed her lips into thin lines and just nodded with her head in agreement with her pale face.
“Use your mouth to speak.” My voice was calm, but it made her sweat. She was trying to speak, but nothing came out. Instead of her apology, I heard a very loud gasp, making my head turn to the source of sound.
There she was standing, Miss. Elena Davis. In her bulging eyes, like they were going to fall out soon with her open arms in the air in a surrendered position? This girl is something else.
She closed her hanging mouth and turned around quickly as she noticed my furrowed eyebrows. Why was she acting weird like that?
Ragged breathing of Liza made me understand I was still holding her close to me with her arm and she misunderstood the situation. I saw Elena take a step to walk away from the office hurriedly.
“STOP” my voice came out unnecessarily loud, making both of them flinch at their places. She just froze at her place and refused to turn around.
I nodded my head at the door and told Liza to get out; she understood and walked out of office, making the door shut behind her. Elena was still standing facing the door.
“I thought you had the decency to knock first barging in, Elena.” I scoffed at her for her sudden intrusion and I deliberately called her Elena as she told me to call her Ms. Davis. She took her hands down and turned around to face me.
“I am extremely sorry for Mr. Accardo but the door was wide open, and I didn’t know that you were…” she spoke, leaving her sentence incomplete, while taking a good view of the office instead of me.
Her entire face was flushed, and she was blinking rapidly, showcasing her discomfort of conversation. She is continuously playing with her hands to keep her calculated.
“I am what?” I encouraged her to complete her sentence, don’t know why but I had a tremendous urge to tease her more and I walked towards her and stood towering over her, resting my hands in my pockets.
“That you were spending quality time with your partner?” She said, shyly and started biting her lips absently mildly. I was about to burst into laughter at hearing her choice of words. Quality time? A light grin formed my face, but I got covered quickly before she could look at me.
“I don’t spend quality time Elena, I was just about to-” she broke me in the middle before I could complete my sentence, making me wonder about her behavior.
“Mr. Accardo, we have a presentation. I-” The nerve of this girl. No one has a right to break my word in the middle.
“Never dare to break my sentence.” I closed the distance between us. She needs to understand that if she wants to spend her rest life in peace and harmony, then she has to bend in front of me.
Clutching her hands tightly, she stood where she was without flinching at my words. She was scared, but her eyes showed no gaze because of my anger.
Her eyes still, holding the steady gaze with mine. I also need her to teach her that never see my eyes again. She will soon get adapted to my ways.
“Why did you come here? Elena.” I asked and she created a step distance between us. I could hear her deep breath as she was restricting her breathing because of that closeness between us. With an audible gulp, she started.
“You were late for a meeting, so I came to remind you and didn’t find Liza at the desk.”
“Let’s go then.” She looked upward, arching her brows and nodding in agreement with me. She turned swiftly and opened the door.
Her long locks of chocolaty brown hairs flowed with the wind like they were part of it. They were silky soft, as the one lock brushed my cheeks when she turned around.
I followed her out of the office and we both headed towards the conference hall for a presentation. I chuckled as she was matching my speed even on her heels; she didn’t like someone to surpass her.
She told me to sit and went to the projector. Let’s see how capable she is. She had a bunch of files with different color tags connected to it.
She started her presentation, which was brief. Whole time she was explaining with her very convincing professional face but her face betrayed her. She had a continuous hint of pink color painted on her, but her eyes were focusing on the screen.
She was explaining everything, like she had studied about this keenly. She was joining every loose end to each other; while avoiding eye contact with me.
It was very fascinating to observe her micro expressions at different points, such as her lips twitching a little upward at the fourth point where she was explaining the balance sheet of art supplies for hotels.
We hide our transaction of drugs by showing that we bought that amount of art supply from different galleries. When she comes towards the unbalanced part, her subtle smile vanishes.
“Mr. Accardo, I have already checked all files and made a list of documents which are having balancing problems. You just have to check and rectify these lists and you are done with your work.” She forwarded a single file; I opened it and saw that most of the projects were related to our drug supply. I need to cover them properly so that no one finds it out again.
“You don’t have to tell me what I do here, Elena. Just follow my orders.” She already took a seat, leaving two chairs from mine.
“Uttering no word.” I ordered without looking up as I sensed she was about to speak something, but after my words, she stopped.
Good, she is not that bad, at least she is trainable and moldable according to my lifestyle. I still have to deal with that bastard who dragged me here way away from Rome to Miami, just to handle some legal work.
“One more thing. Mr. Accardo.” She was collecting all files she opened for explanations of her claims and to present the proof.
“My work here is done. From tomorrow onwards, Ms. Liza will assist you with work.” She told me and gave a curt node. She was about to leave the conference room, but stopped as I called her.
“Elena, who found out about this problem in the first place?” involuntarily, her one eyebrow got cocked at my question. She was clutching files in her hands.
“Me,” she says in a lower tone.
“Then, who do you think will be better to assist me with my work?” she was surprised by the question. She didn’t speak for a moment and stared at me in awe, tilting her head in the little left direction.
“Tomorrow, you have a meeting with all the head managers regarding your arrival and discussing a new strategy of managing hotels.” I like her way of accepting the fact.
“Good, you get that sooner.” She clutched her jaw while rolling her eyes at me. Well, you will get punished for that, but right now; I am in a good mood, so you can go according to your will, but not longer.
“Good night, Mr. Accardo.” She bid her farewell and left with an enormous lump of air in her.
Chapter 5 InmisciblesElena Davis,I just stormed out of the conference hall after bedding a good night to Mr. Scissor mouth. It’s just a day still I felt like it’s enough. First, he banged me on the table, then tried to take advantage of me and, like it’s not enough, I had to barge in his make-out session with Liza.Clearly he isn’t civilized enough, where he was living in the jungle? But the way he was staring at me, like finding something in me which is familiar to him made me go soft on him for no reason.I don’t know, normally I freak out in such situations, but this time I didn’t feel unsafe or such that even when he banged me on the table, I was just scared.I have to agree his forest green eyes hold a power of dominance like he is used to dominating everyone around him. He even walks and speaks like he is the god who created thi
Elena Davis,What does he think of himself? To act like that in front of board members. I was so fuming that I lost all control over myself and accused him of full-blown words.I wasn’t aware of the fact that I was draining my anger on my boss with my full potential until I felt his hand on my wrist while I was retreating in the conference room again to resume the meeting.I was taken aback when he jerked me towards him, crushing me on his rigid body. A small gasp left my mouth as my forehead bumped into his muscular chest. He pushed me with his tall frame and trapped me between the wall and himself. While he was pushing me, involuntarily I tried to push him but he caught my hands in swift motion and held them above my head with his rough grip.I was so surprised by his act that I was left totally speechless. I tried to utter something, but nothing came out of my mouth. He was breathing on my
Chapter 7 Unbelievable ReactionArius Accardo,It’s been six months, and Nicole still hasn’t found Aria. I only need her to complete the blood oath between our Padres, but I still consider her my friend.Protecting her is my duty. Don’t know where Zia (aunt) Lauren took her and where they were living? The only thing happened in this period was Salvatore couldn’t find her. I need to give him a reason to distract him. This can be the way to save her.I got up and walked up to the window of my penthouse, dropping the cigarette in my hand. I saw the old file of Elena’s basic information peeping out from the bookshelf beside.A thing made me wonder about that girl, so passionate and loyal to her work. She does all my work, but never complained about that. She molded well around me, but her outbreak of angered me. The challenging look in her eye made me want to break all ties
Chapter 8 Sweetest Lips“I just have to give you something, then I will leave.” She nearly yelled while crossing her hands. Someone put a tray of tequila in front of me.I was surprised as she snatched the glass of shot from my hand and emptied it in one go. When she finished, she banged the glass on the floor.“I need it to do it or otherwise I have to tell my deep secret to them.” She confessed something that I didn’t get at all. She was breathing hastily and her one hand was on her chest.Let her talk, she is drunk. She scooted near me. I turned my head towards her. She pointed something behind me with her finger.“Look, Nicole.” She shouted suddenly. I was about to turn my head, but I knew he wasn’t there, so I turned towards her midway. Before I could speak anything, I felt her lips on me. She pecked my lips but froze in place. She didn’t even retreat, but clasped her dress in
Chapter 9 Uncertain FeelingsElena Davis,A feeling of falling into a cold pond wakes me up from my deep sleep. I jerked up on my bed with dripping wet hair and dress, wondering me about what happened to me?Calming my raced heart, I started checking my condition. As my gaze rose upwards from my covers, I knew I need to write my will as patty was standing with an empty bucket and the face which only remind me of the death. She was breathing visibly with her red and razor sharp gaze, making me wonder the reason of her volcanic anger. Is Tom did something? I don’t think so; maybe I had done something wrong. The flash of kissing Mr. Accardo crossed my mind, which froze my world. The touch of his rough lips still lingering on my mouth, his taste is fresh in my mind. The way he was pulling me more into him; trying to blend me in him, making me feel every skin he could do that time
Chapter 10 Bursting out“No, no, never.” I continuously opposed the idea and my mind again remembered the feeling of his lips gliding on mine. His beating heart was below my chest, that resonating peaceful sound. The way I was molded to his body; I am experiencing the same pull again in air.“Then why are you blushing pink?” he asked, while closing the distance between us.“I am not.” I refused, shaking my head in negative.“Yes, you are fiocco din eve (snowflake).” He called me something in Italian again. Why he always says something in Italian when he very well knows I don’t understand Italian at all.“NO. Mr. Accardo. It’s weather.” I spoke adamantly, but we both very well know the truth.“Ok, let’s test your theory.” He insisted while resting his both hands beside the wall of parapet, leaning down at me; brushing his rough stubble over my cheeks while chuckling at h
Elena Davis,The sudden squeeze over my waist made me gasp loudly, and he took advantage of it, sliding his tongue with speed. His every trust devouring me; measuring new depths each time.He is going too far. I should stop him. I was trying hard, but the feeling of him was too hard to protest. Pushing him with my tongue I tried to break the kiss, but they get entangled more than ever, breaking an appreciating groan from him by pulling me more in him, making me practically rest on his chest.I was out of breathing, but he wasn’t allowing me to take the air. I beat his chest to break free. But that was gone in vain. Then I bit his lip, making him break the kiss and gasping as much as possible for air. I rested my head on his chest.I lost my balance, but he was squeezing me on him with his hand while panting for air. I was completely out of energy, technically dandling over him for support like wine.
Chapter 12 Rain of BulletsArius Accordo’s Pov,I don’t know how to feel. Should I be happy or mad at her? She kissed as I am the last hope of her existence melting in me like she became a part of my body, making it a treasured moment for both of us.The melodious voice of her thumping heart was the only thing I could experience besides that drug like feeling of kissing her. But she kissed after threatening the life of that worm. Why does she care about him so much? He kissed her cheek, and I felt betrayed. I didn’t prefer anyone’s touch over her, and that bastard dared to kiss her. I am so eager to kill that worm, but I can’t, as she is fond of him.She acted strange this morning. She didn’t greet me with her dazzling smile as usual, but rolled her eyes at me in annoyance. I am quite used to witnessing her smile every day, but still she has to pay the price of rolling that captivating h
Chapter 59: Revealing The Piece of The HeartMy lips were quivering, and I couldn’t comprehend what I should do. The dripping blood from the knife suffocated me as if it was yelling at me I murdered that man. Breathing while my blood-drenched hands shook violently. Arius ran hurriedly over to me with his worried face and glanced back at his dead body of Dante. He held my trembling hands and threw the knife away, filling me in his arms tight. My body left the last strength, and I scattered in his embrace. Tears were rolling down my cheeks, yet a word wasn’t daring to break out from me. He cupped my face and made me look at him. His lips were moving, they were saying something to me, and his eyes were roaming all over me. Droplets of tears were sipping from his eyes, and he buried me again in his neck. I let go of everything that was holding me and wrapped my hands around his neck. His steady heart beats of his were the only thing keeping me alive. He made both of us stand up, and h
Chapter 58: An Unexpected ReflexAhhhhhhhThe thundering screech roared in the room as he tore open my one sleeve and threw over the cold, dirty floor mercilessly. Before I could get up and defend my honor, he clutched a bunch of my hair, bringing closer to his fuming face.“You know, I was never agitated about this before finding out you are alive. The only thing Arius ever cherished with his heart and slaughtered my family in front of my eyes.” His vengefulness was dripping from his eyes, flooding this dark room entirely. I was struggling to push this bastard away from me, but his death grip over me didn’t allow me to take a step away from him.“Now, I will enjoy you and see how he feels about it?” He pressed me over the floor, dropping his body weight, trapping me under him. I have to hold him until Arius comes here to save me. He will definitely come for me. Hurry, love, before it
Chapter 57: The Crushing Down RealityA flash of icy cold water on my skin jerked me up into reality. I coughed a few times, trying to snatch some air to breathe. My headache was as if someone was pounding a hammer mercilessly with great effort.I lay on the dirty floor, and my hands were tightly bound over my back. Flashes of what happened back in the changing room crossed my mind, passing the chilies over my already shivering body.An arrogant smirk made me look up at the tall and muscular figure. He was standing under the dandling light on a corner that wasn’t capable of lighting the entire room. The manic calmness over his face clutched my heart. Composing myself, I lay over the wall to support my weight.“Who are you?” He straightened his head and kept staring at me with a dangerously curious gaze. I looked a
Chapter 57: Heartache and KidnappingAfter that incident, only Arius remained in my life in the form of light who kept my breathing continued. It's been weeks yet my heart has not emptied. Tears dried long but took away the shine in them, if it hadn’t been Arius’s touch I would have gone crazy.Every night, he tried to make me sleep but the beautiful memories of them make me cry. I was the reason they ended up so brutally. My father used to bring me chocolate every day from work until my mother's accident. I always longed to get his love but now I was sure, it was never in my fate to get one.I used to call Patty from here, but she always insisted on asking when I was going to meet her. My heart aches for Theo, that man loved me ultimately, I was the reason
Chapter 55: Understanding You I looked out of the window. The dark forest which used to remind of the depth of my love for him, now reminding how dangerous it can be to be fallen in love. My body shivered as he traced my arms before caging me in his embrace and peppered a few kisses on my neck. I wanted him to understand what he had done, but my empty heart couldn’t feel anything. His deed didn’t subside my love for him. I wasn’t able to dislike this man. “Don’t be such a silent wife, just name it. I will do whatever to smile at you again.” A teardrop slipped unknowingly at his words. He tinted the holy church, killed his bride in front of the cross, forced me to marry him. Was he who coaxing me? “El, it’s me.” I looked at the sound source. Alex was standing behind me, and Arius was nowhere to be seen. Her presence broke my patience, and I ran
Chapter 54: His AngerHe carried me in the car as if I was going to run away and made me sit over his lap, wrapping his hands around my waist. He took my shivering hands in his and pressed over his lips, kissing me a few times, but he failed to calm my terrified soul.“My Snowflake, look here.” He held my chin up to face him. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I closed my eyes, not wanting to look at him anymore.“How many times I have to tell you, don’t shed those precious pearls? It makes me weak.” The desperation in his voice broke out. A long-suppressed sob, making my condition worse. He hugged my trembling figure, roaming his hands through my hair.“Don’t hide those honey-brown pools from me. My chest tightens every time I see t
Chapter 53: A MarriageI was watching his changed behaviour. He casually said, lets get married while the dead body of his lover was laying in the same holy church, which he turned into battle field. His grip over my waist tightened, hitching my air supply. Thick crimson blood was dripping from his forehead and entered his eyes, turning it redder than it was, making it resembles with the devil. His flaring air fanning over my face when I lifted my hand to check his wound. However, he was. Still my heart longed for him, his wounds bothers my soul, shaking to its last sanity. But he griped my wrist and pulled me with him.My body trembled, realising where he was heading towards the small stage in front of a blood bathed cross. I held his hand with my other hand, struggling to get free from him.“NOOO, ARIUS. STOP.” Tears rolled down
Chapter 52: Sweetest NightmareElena Davis’s pov,I looked at the empty pillow beside me, and the coldness of the mattress under my palm almost moist my eyes. I don’t know, should I be happy to confess my love to him or cry because it’s his wedding day? My life will remain empty like this cold leftover bed for the rest of my life, but I will not allow him to touch me anymore. He will definitely try his best to keep me pinned against his chest naked, but I love him so much that I can’t allow him to betray his wife. I shivered, imagining the future whenever they both came in front of me as a couple. My life has turned upside down. I want to leave, but he will not let me. I want to stay away from him, but my heart won’t allow it. What should I do? Every time I breathe, it feels like I am not me anymore. I don’t know whose body belongs to which I lay naked, filled with t
Chapter 51: An Shocking AnnouncementThe cracking sound of bullets was roaring throughout the church along with the reloading of the guns. I pulled out my gun, tucked it in my belt, and took shelter behind the wall as soon as I composed myself. The half of the platform I was standing on was destroyed. Good, it means I am their target, not the rest of my family.‘James’s men allowed them through the gates.’ Terance’s voice boomed in my air. I peeped out. Father and Marc were already holding machine guns hidden behind their chairs. They were in form and took down a few advancing men simultaneously. Nicole was protecting Alex from a distance. She was hidden behind the counter.I aimed at a man dashing towards them from a corner. A rain of bullets was showering all over. They wiped out the dripping blood from my temples and came out of the shelter, getting better access to kill them.
