Eva goes to her boss's cabin with disappointment. She was ready to be fired from this job, and there were already many plans going on in her mind for another job.

As soon as she opens the door of the cabin and goes inside, Mrs. Kim looks at her, and she understands that this time also, Eva has returned empty handed.

“I'm sure I don't need to tell you anything Eva.”

“I'm sorry, boss. I understand. You don't need to fire me. Here's my resignation.”

“It's very good that you have resigned yourself; now don't waste my time and go from here.”

With this, Eva turns to go towards the door and starts going out with slow steps.

Mrs. Kim gets a call on her phone, and her eyes go wide.

“Wait, Eva , come back here.”

Eva looks at Mrs. Kim with surprise and goes back towards her.

Mrs. Kim hangs up the call and looks at Eva.

“What have you done?”

“I don't understand, boss.”

“Yours, Rafael , is ready to give an interview, and he has a special demand that you only take the interview.”

“What! I can't believe my ears. Is this really happening? So am I still in this job?”

“Yes, of course. Go prepare for the interview; he has asked you to go to his office tomorrow.”

“Thanks boss”

She left the cabin.

Rafael Pov

I entered the club and was going towards my VIP room when I heard my name coming from a girl's mouth. Although my name coming from a girl's mouth was not a new thing, the thing that caught my attention was that the girl was cursing me, and for the first time I found it interesting. The whole world is afraid of me, and at my one gesture, any girl in the world comes to her knees, so I wonder who this girl is. Who hates me so much?

I went toward that girl.

As I got closer, I could see her fiery gaze and clenched fists, a stark contrast to the usual adoring looks I received. Her words were sharp and filled with venom, accusing me of things I had never done. I couldn't help but be intrigued by her boldness and defiance in the face of my power. Who was this girl who dared to stand up to me? I had to find out.

I will steal her and hide her from this world's eyes. I will cherish her and protect her from any harm that may come her way. She will be my everything, and I will stop at nothing to ensure her happiness. With her by my side, I feel complete and unstoppable. She is mine, and I will never let her go.

When I brought her to my hotel, I wanted to spend more time with her; even her sleeping figure was enough to bring warmth to me.

I don't know why I am finding solace with this girl; is she my home, which I have been searching for till now? As I watched her peacefully slumber, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm and contentment wash over me. It was as if her presence alone was enough to make me feel at ease, like I had finally found where I truly belonged. In that moment, I realized that maybe home isn't a place, but a feeling of comfort and belonging that can only be found in the presence of someone special.

I will have to go for the same deal for which I came to Paris, because of this girl I have forgotten my work, it is strange that for the first time in my life Rafael does not feel like working.

Eve’s Pov

I was still bewildered; even though I should be glad, the day I was waiting for has arrived, but why did my heartbeat rise, as if something was going to happen? I get out of my thoughts when the cab driver says

We are under the King’s Corp building. I get out of the cab and pay my fare. The cab leaves, and I glance towards the sky-touching building. I had prepared a list of my questions.

These were the questions that the public wanted to know; therefore, we performed the survey. I enter the building, my heart pounding, hoping that everything is well.

I go to the reception, where a girl stares at me and smiles. As soon as she sees me, she says

“You are surely Ms. Evelyn Rogers , and Sir is waiting for you.”

She informs someone on her phone, and within a few minutes, another girl approaches me, smiling.

“Welcome, Ms Evelyn Rogers. I'm Marina smith. You can come with me, and you can give me your coat.”

The girl smiles as she helps me take off my coat; it was all fantastic. How can these people be so polite to me, as if I were their boss's girlfriend? I am an ordinary reporter.

We proceed to the elevator. There are two doors, so I move the second one, but

Not on that side, miss; you may take this elevator; it is sir's personal elevator. I smile as we both enter the elevator. I couldn't comprehend anything, so I couldn't help myself and asked that girl .

“Excuse me, but do you treat every visitor like this?”

She glances at me and grins.

“We have received strict orders to take good care of you; otherwise, we will have to forfeit our jobs.”

“Oh, why? Is this an order from your boss?”

“Yes, but you shouldn't tell him. I've told you this.”

“Oh no, I'm not going to say anything; you can trust me.”

We both glance at each other and grin.

And the elevator door opens, and we step out.

We were heading across the corridor when a guy approached us.

“Oh, Ms Rogers, you are welcome. I'm Blaze Mc clan, Mr. King's secretary.”

“Okay, thank you.”

“Marina, you can go; I'll escort Ms. Rogers to the cabin.”

“Okay, sir, “Marina leaves from there.

And I go approach the cabin with Blaze.

We were in front of a large wooden door when Blaze knocked.

“You can go inside.”I nod and go inside.

It was a large cabin with a wide glass window in the front that overlooked the entire city. I observed a man at the same window; obviously, all of this was consistent with his demeanor and lifestyle as a strong man. That's how things are.
