Eva was sitting on the verandah floor, staring at the setting sun with tears in her eyes, and she was lost in her own thoughts. No matter how much she tries to escape from the past, she will never be able to forget the memories of Rafael from her memory and heart.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Alexander sat next to her and said, "I hate sunsets; it reminds me of him; I hate everything that has to do with him." Eva replied, "I can understand, but he is most connected to you; so do you hate yourself too?" he said, and Eva looked at him.

"Hate the ones who truly deserve your hatred, not the ones who love you the way you are." Alexander smiled. "Want to go for a walk?" he asked. Eva nodded. As they strolled along the peaceful path, Alexander couldn't help but feel grateful for Eva's understanding and acceptance. "I'm glad you're in my life," he said softly. Eva squeezed his hand, a warm smile on her face. "I wouldn't want it any other way," she replied, her eyes filled with affection.
