Francesca’s eyes searched mine, and the moment she realized I wasn’t going to hug her back, she pulled away, her expression shifting as hurt flashed across her face.

“How long are you going to punish me?” she asked, her voice cracking, barely holding it together.

I just shook my head, walked past her into the living room, and sank onto her couch, stretching out like I owned the place. “I’m not punishing you. I’m here, aren’t I?” I replied coolly, giving her that detached, unreadable look I knew drove her crazy.

She followed me, standing there, still wrapped in her silk robe, “Yeah, you’re here, after I begged you for a year to come. A year, Alessandro.”

I leaned back, resting one arm on the couch’s headrest, legs stretched out, “It wasn’t exactly easy to look at you after what you did.”

She took a step closer, right into my space, standing between my legs, “It was a mistake, Alessandro, a huge mistake. I don’t even know what I was thinking.”

She's being set up! I just have that feeling. Oh, God, I hope this doesn't push him back to Francesca, and I really hope that she didn't have anything to do with it or that she's going to be tortured big time!

I agree with Joan Cox, or maybe it's a set up by Alessandro himself, to see what she will do. Maybe try to clear her name. Also what happened to the note he found behind the picture. Is she Brandon and Stella's sister, according to the picture she doesn't look like them. She looks different.

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ Have you ever stood in a room and felt that every set of eyes was waiting for you to slip up, to give them some reason to tear you down? That's exactly what it felt like standing there, surrounded, with all of them staring me down. Their looks weren’t normal—they were filled with accusations and suspicions, as if they were all in on some shared vendetta against me. My gut was screaming that they didn’t just want me gone—they wanted to see me dead. Everyone in this room was the kind who played mental chess with their eyes closed. And I knew I had to be two moves ahead, outthink them before they even made their first play. I took a step back, searching Alessandro’s eyes. No—he wouldn’t just take their word for it, would he? They thought I’d stolen two damn laptops. It took everything I had not to laugh at the absurdity of it. As if I’d be careless enough to get caught over something as amateur as that. Alessandro already knew about the sensitive data I printed

Alessandro ☩══♛══☩ Nikolai stood close to the vast windows of my office, his gaze slicing through the city skyline. Hands deep in his pockets, as he took in every word I said.. After a pause, he turned just slightly, a sliver of impatience in his eyes. “What’s your take about this?” I leaned back, feeling the familiar tension twist in my gut, “If there’s a problem on my side, I’ll take care of it.” A muscle in his jaw flexed. “It’s not you I’m concerned about,” he let the words hang in the air, “It’s that girl. There’s something… off. She’s not what she seems.” My grip tightened around the pen, rolling it between my fingers as I stared ahead, “I told you, she’ll be dealt with. You have my word.” He didn’t respond, just gave a brief nod. We both knew what that promise meant, and it wouldn’t end with Viviane walking away like she had done a few hours ago. Frankie stepped into my office, his face lost all its color when he saw Nikolai, he clasped his hands tightly behind his b

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ It felt like my body had been steamrolled. Or, well, almost. Technically, I hadn’t been steamrolled, just hit by a car, but every cell in my body protested like it had been. Pain radiated everywhere, like I’d been stretched thin and dragged over gravel. Breathing hurt. Blinking hurt. Even thinking hurt. The doctor leaned over me, his face a blur that slowly sharpened as I blinked and tried to focus. “Let’s run through a few things, okay? Can you tell me your name?” he looked at me, pen poised. I blinked, fighting through the haze. “Viviane Kane, unfortunately still very alive.” He raised an eyebrow, “Can you tell me where you are?” I glanced around, taking in the too-bright lights and sterile smell. I wasn't in my home or in Alessandro's torture chamber, “Either a hospital, or someone with an incredibly clean fetish dungeon.” A smile almost escaped him, but he held it back, “Good sense of humor, seems like your brain is working just fine. Now, how many fin

Alessandro ☩══♛══☩ “Son, you know she’s been watching you for a while now,” his father murmured, eyes cutting to a young woman across the club, who was throwing suggestive glances at Alessandro. Alessandro barely looked her direction, he was more focused on his conversation with Scott. He was twenty, and he'd only come tonight because it was his birthday and his father, Vito, insisted on throwing a party. He didn't know that it would be the last one they’d celebrate together or he would have been nicer to him. “I don’t care, let her look,” Alessandro replied casually, sipping his whiskey and keeping his attention on Scott, one of the few people who understood his tech obsession. Vito gave a frustrated sigh, “Alessandro, I’ve been noticing something,” he said, “In all these years, not once have I seen you with a woman. Not once. Even at your initiation, you turned down every opportunity to fuck. It’s unnatural.” he raised an eyebrow, “Your cock works alright? Or should I be wo

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ I’d never had anyone take care of me like this before. Growing up, Brandon and Stella did what they could, but life pulled them in other directions too early. College, jobs, and other stuff that kept them busy. They tried, but there was only so much they could do before they were gone. With my parents...well, I learned young that if I didn’t look after myself, no one else would. I practically raised myself. Then there were the men I dated. I’d picked one narcissist after another, guys who saw caring for anyone as something beneath them, or worse, as a woman’s job. My last ex wasn’t just self-absorbed—he was the type who thought cooking, cleaning, and even basic decency belonged on my side of the line, no matter what I had on my plate. So, sitting here now, watching him in my tiny kitchen compared to the spacious and luxurious ones he was used to, it was like seeing something out of place but so right. He was supposed to be untouchable Costello, all danger and c

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ The past 24 hours had been a blur—a storm of panic, decisions, and a speed I wasn’t prepared for. No time to think, no time to tell Brandon. I knew exactly what his reaction would be—he’d lose his mind, try to put a stop to it, argue about Alessandro’s influence and the strings he’d pulled. But I couldn’t afford that argument, not now. Not when Fliss’s life was hanging in the balance. Everything moved at a breakneck pace. By the time we got to the hospital, the donor—some poor child closer to Felicity's age, who’d just lost their life—was already prepped. I didn’t even have a moment to process what that meant, what we were really doing here. Alessandro didn’t give me a chance; he had it all under control, every detail. He took over, directing doctors and nurses, smoothing over paperwork while I just stood back. He made me feel that again—soft femininity, seen, and safe in a way that made me forget I ever had to stand alone. I should have felt gratitude, but the p

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ I'd never felt the urge to stomp someone so hard I’d leave an imprint, but this bitch? She was testing my patience like no one else ever had. There were a lot of things I could handle, but watching her perfectly manicured hand reach out, to touch Alessandro’s tux? Yeah, that wasn’t one of them. Her smile was all sweetness and sugar, but I could see right through it—she wasn’t fooling anyone, least of all me. She leaned in, eyes lingering on him in a way that made my blood simmer, fingers brushing his lapel. “Can we talk for a moment... alone?” she asked, voice dripping with a little too much familiarity as she toyed with his collar. A heat rose up in me, a possessiveness I’d only felt for Fliss but somehow ten times more potent. In the span of a second, my mind was made up. I didn’t think, I just acted. My hand shot out, and I slapped her hand away from him—not a gentle brush-off either, but a smack that echoed in the space around us. Francesca jerked her hand b

Alessandro ☩══♛══☩ From the corner of my eye, I watched Viviane—laughing, head thrown back, that carefree sound spilling out of her like it belonged in a different world than mine. What really got me was that even Bianca was laughing along with the rest of them. Bianca, who I expected to pull her usual crap, throw a snide remark, stir up trouble, or worse, drop some comment meant to chip away at me in front of Viviane but none of it happened. She was smiling like she wasn’t the viper I knew her to be. And it twisted something dark in me, this realization that Viviane fit here more easily than I wanted her to. I hated it—seeing her at ease with people, people who shouldn’t get to know her, who shouldn’t get to see her this relaxed. That laughter, those little smiles... They weren’t for them. They shouldn’t be. I realized it in that moment: Viviane wasn’t someone I could just share. Not here, not with them, maybe not with anyone. She’s mine. And the thought of anyone

Viviane☩═✦═☩I used to think nothing could break me. That I was untouchable. Unshakable. Unbreakable. And now I was curled up on the couch in Brandon’s empty apartment, clutching a spoon like it was the only thing keeping me from falling apart. A half-melted pint of chocolate ice cream sat in my lap, barely touched, while some cheesy rom-com played on the TV. Never thought I’d end up here. Viviane Kane, the one who walked away before anyone else could reduced to this. Alone. Pathetic. Watching strangers pretend love fixes everything while mine left me shattered. Maybe this is what karma looks like. Maybe I deserved it. I thought I could handle anything. Thought I could keep my walls high and my heart out of reach. But then Alessandro happened. And now...now I couldn’t even hold myself together. The tears came before I could stop them, hot and bitter, sliding down my face in waves that wouldn’t let up. I wiped at them angrily, furious at myself for feeling this way. For

Viviane☩═✦═☩Scott dragged a chair across the room, the legs scraping against the floor in a sound that made my teeth clench. He didn’t seem to care about the noise, though; he was grinning like this was his favourite sick game. Alessandro carried a second chair in one hand, a gun in the other, the weight of it swinging casually at his side. They positioned the chairs back-to-back, like they were setting up for an execution. Once the chairs were in place, they each took a side—Scott on one, Alessandro on the other. My heart pounded like it was about to burst, my eyes flicking to Angelo and Joey. Their gazes locked onto mine, filled with silent, desperate pleas. Joey’s chin quivered, and in that moment, a fierce instinct surged through me, I would protect those boys with everything I had. “Sit,” Alessandro ordered. Angelo and Joey exchanged a terrified glance, their faces pale as ghosts as then they looked at me again, but they didn’t dare to refuse them. Scott grabbed Joey by th

Viviane☩═✦═☩“Stick to the script I gave you,” I said. The boys nodded in the rearview like their lives depended on it—because it did. The Costellos were laying low, their operations still on ice but that doesn't mean they were any less dangerous. No flashy parties, no public outings, no throwing their weight around. They weren’t taking any chances. Instead, they holed up in each other’s mansions, surrounded by family, playing house like they weren’t the most dangerous people in the city. I pulled into the long driveway of Nikolai’s estate, the towering gates opening. My car glided to a stop, and I turned to the boys in the backseat. “If you embarrass me in there, I’ll make you wish you had never crossed paths with me.” I didn’t wait for their shaky nods before stepping out. I adjusted my jacket and strode to the front entrance, the boys trailing behind me on the steps. Danilo was by the front door, patrolling as usual. He caught sight of me, and his whole demeanor changed. Hi

Viviane☩═✦═☩This had to work. Failure wasn’t an option, not for me, not for her, and definitely not for the truth. If this plan fell apart, it wouldn’t just ruin everything I’d clawed my way toward; it would rewrite the narrative, paint her as the victim when she was anything but. The thought made my stomach churn. I stood at the head of the table, my arms crossed, watching the two boys fidget under my gaze. Their mothers stood protectively behind them, throwing nervous glances at each other. They weren’t scared of the courts or the cops. No, their real fear had a name: Nikolai. “Do I need to remind you how much I’ve already paid you?” I said.I leaned forward, my palms flat on the table, watching their faces carefully. One of the boys, the taller of the two, finally mustered the courage to speak. “Yeah, but… going in front of Don Niko wasn’t part of the deal. We agreed to testify in court, not to lie to him.” Before I could answer, one of the mothers stepped in, “Ms. Viv

Alessandro ☩══♛══☩ The morning air bit at my skin, cold enough to clear my head. Coffee in hand, I leaned against the front door. Last night replayed in broken flashes—her body beneath mine, her breathless moans, the way she looked at me. I shouldn’t have touched her. Not again. Not after everything. But fuck me, when she’s near, it’s like every ounce of logic burns away. And God, she makes it so fucking easy. One of my men stepped out of the car, with the garment bag in his hand. “Sir, the dress,” he said, holding it out. A dress for her. Something elegant, beautiful, tailored to fit her perfectly. Because, apparently, I’m the kind of man who has shit like this ready for a woman I can’t trust, can’t forgive, but still can’t fucking let go of. I snatched the bag out of his hand, and dismissed him with a wave of my hand. Inside the house, I dropped the garment bag onto the couch. The coffee in my hand was lukewarm now, but I drank it anyway, the bitterness biting at my to

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ His lips dragged a lazy path down my stomach, he kissed the sides of my waist, his stubble scratched against my skin, and when he reached the edge of my lace blue panties, he paused. His bloodshot eyes locked onto mine, half-lidded, intense, and filled with so much lust that made my stomach flip. His lips parted, his teeth brushing over the delicate lace as he caught the fabric. It wasn't smooth, it was messy, slow, and really sloppy. He tugged the panties down with his teeth, the fabric catching briefly against my thighs before sliding lower, until they pooled at my ankles. Every nerve in my body seemed to be on edge, my head spinning from the booze, the heat, the way he looked at me like I was something he was about to ruin in the best possible way. His mouth hovered just close enough to make me squirm. My head tipped back against the pillows, the room spinning like I was on a carousel I couldn’t get off of. When his tongue finally swept between my folds, I c

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ Then he spoke again, and his voice hit me like a bucket of cold water. Oh, he was real. Too real. “You're the biggest headache of my life... and the only thing I can't stop wanting,” he muttered, more to himself than to me. His hand raked through his hair, and he looked down, like he was trying to find the words buried somewhere in the concrete beneath us. “You’re so goddamn...pretty. It’s infuriating.” I blinked at him, caught off guard, “What?” His head snapped up, and he looked at me like I was the problem, like I was the one ruining his life. “You heard me,” he said, “You’re pretty, okay? Too fucking pretty. And I hate it. I hate you. You make everything impossible.” My breath hitched, and I hated myself for it. “You hate me?” my voice trembling with anger or maybe it was something, “Good. Because I hate you too.” He stepped closer, and suddenly there was no space left between us. I could feel the heat rolling off him, his breath warm and tinged with whis

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ The table felt lopsided, or maybe that was just me. I leaned forward, elbows planted on the table like some heathen with no manners. Across from me, Alessandro was laughing—a deep, rumbling laugh that I found fucking annoying and it grated on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard. Because his arm was draped around her. He was playing a new game, "I'm-going-to-make-Viviane-homicidal" game. Miss Bubblegum-Lip-Gloss-And-Too-Much-Perfume laughed at something he said, her perfect teeth gleamed under the lights. She was laughing like he was the funniest man alive. “Here,” he said, as he lifted a forkful of whatever overpriced dish was on his plate. “Try this.” She tilted her head, batting her eyelashes as she parted her lips and leaned in to take the bite he was offering. She ate the damn thing like it was a scene from a rom-com, her eyelashes fluttering like she had a severe medical condition. I nearly choked on my wine. I slammed my wine glass down harder than

Viviane ☩═✦═☩ I’ve always had an ego. And I’m not exactly shy about it either. Call it arrogance if you want. Call it self-awareness. Doesn’t matter to me. I know who I am, and I own every part of it. The problem was when someone like me goes head-to-head with someone just as stubborn, just as egotistical, it’s not just a spark...it’s a fucking wildfire, and nothing survives that. Not pride. Not patience. Not us. We hadn’t spoken directly in over a month. Every word, every message, every order was funneled through his brothers like some sort of twisted game of telephone. I knew he hated it as much as I did, but neither of us would break first. It wasn’t just about stubbornness. It was about principle. I refused to be the one to crawl back, and Alessandro, well, he’d rather set himself on fire than give me the satisfaction of seeing him bend. Whatever. Let him stew in his own ego. Let him send his brothers to speak for him, like the coward he is. “Ms. Kane, the bo
