Aunt Alessia brushed away imaginary specks from my tuxedo, offering a teary smile as she meticulously adjusted my bowtie. Despite her efforts to contain the tears, they shimmered in her eyes.

I planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, triggering an emotional surge. Overwhelmed, she enveloped me in a tight hug, succumbing to sobs.

"I wish she were here, witnessing how handsome her baby boy has become. If only fate had chosen me instead that day; at least then, you boys would have had your mother by your side," she whispered, her words finding solace against my chest, my chin resting atop her head.

"Please don't say that," I responded gently. "Your love has always been more than enough for me. You've never let me feel the absence of a mother. Besides, if anything had happened to you, it would have been unfair to little Allie—losing both her parents."

His brothers might not be mistreating Claire but they are definitely constantly saying that she did betray just that he shouldn't lose himself in revenge. Even Claire told him that she did all this for Scott as she loves him and not Vin. Of course he's bitter and hurt so can't see the truth.

I can see everyone is hating on Vincenzo and feeling pity for Claire. But from his pov, he is being lied to by everyone around him except Aunt Alessia, his brothers, father and even Claire. It's not easy to see the truth when you are being kept in the dark from all sides.He deserves the truth.
