Niko stood in the doorway, his eyes narrowed menacingly at the scene before him before they settled on me.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I need to talk to you," I declared.

Niko's eyes flicked between the bloodied finger of his other soldier and then on me before a twisted smirk formed over his face.

"Go to Dr. Raymond, he will attach your finger back," he ordered the soldier keeping his enraged eyes on me before he turned and walked back to his desk, leaving the door open.

I stepped into the room, quickly tucking my bloodstained knife away in my pocket. I slammed the door shut firmly, and squared up to him as he slowly sank into his chair behind the desk.

"What do you want?"

"I'm your enforcer, Niko," I stated.

"Are you? Are you sure it's where your loyalties lie?"

"My loyalty has always been with you."

He acted so entertained, yet I was aware of the fury that was brewing just beneath the surface of his phony mirth. "Where was your loyalty when you fucked
