♕—Delilah

I groaned and rolled over as a pounding headache filled my skull, my eyelids felt too heavy to open. But with a monumental effort, I forced them apart, cringing at the sudden influx of light. My mouth felt like sandpaper and I had to swallow hard to make the rock clogging my throat go away.

I awoke, my eyes immediately recognizing the ceiling above me. dread settled in my stomach as memories flooded back and I came to my senses - it was the same ceiling I had spent countless days beneath. Sitting upright and surveying my surroundings, I realized I was in my own bedroom.

How?

How did I get here?

Jack...

I was with Jack and—Lorenzo, oh my god!

The door creaked open and Rita walked in, "Rita?! Oh my GOD, Rita, what happened?! How am I HERE?! Where's Mama? Where's Anthony?! I was with Jack and--and he--!"

Rita cautiously approached me and took a seat on the bed, her grip tightening around my hand as she gave me a nervous smile, "I'm here to make sure you're ready for King

♕—Delilah Heavy laughter echoed through the thick walls of this palace as walked to where I was supposed to go. I won't give up just like this, I can't! I won't give up without a fight.I knew the odds weren't in my favor but I need to try for him... I walked to the grand hall and the first person my eyes fell on was my own father. His laughter got replaced by a menacing smile when his eyes fell on me; he stood up and so did everyone else. So did Alexander. I know he was watching me but I didn't even glance at him as I walked straight to my papa. "Where's mama?" I asked. "Delilah, greet our guest first then we'll talk..." he answered, trying to grab my hand but I stepped back making him clench his jaw. "I don't care about your guest, I want to know about mama!" the second those words left my mouth, he landed a back-handed slap on my cheek making me stagger to my side with the force of it. My teeth cut into the inside of my cheek. "You ungrateful girl, after everything I did to

♞—Lorenzo I walked to Niko, wiping the blood that trickled down the side of my face. Niko seemed tensed, raging mad and it only made me more fucking restless. He hung up the phone and then glared at me once more. "What?" I asked. "Nothing... he was just making sure I hadn't changed my fucking decision!" As I took in his words, I couldn't help but feel a wave of relief pass through me. Knowing that she was in the arms of her lover, I knew she was safe and couldn't be happier. At the same time, there was a yearning deep in my heart, fucking wishing why I couldn't be the one to make her feel the way he did.Niko walked to the home bar and poured himself a drink, "Where the fuck is she?" he asked. "She is with someone who will keep her safe." I'd go to the ends of the earth and back for Delilah, to make sure that she is happy and safe. I'd tear down any walls and destroy any bridges blocking the way to giving her all she deserves. I'd give her the world, never take it away, and be b

♕—Delilah I winced as Rita put something on my back, something cold but it did nothing to ease the pain papa's whips had left on me. I wrapped my arms around my knees and gently rocked myself back and forth. "Do you know where they are keeping her?" I asked her for the millionth time. "No, I don't, probably in the dungeons in your father's wing," she replied coldly. "Is she being tortured?" "I don't know..." My heart drowned in my stomach as I asked the next question, "Is she even alive, Rita?" Rita sniffled, "No, I'm not talking to you about it. I told you everything and what did you do? You went to the grand hall and challenged your father in front of his subjects, and got whipped to death. So, no I'm not telling you anything anymore!" I swallowed, she had been crying since it had happened, trying her best to relieve the pain as papa had denied me medical attention. What she didn't know was that I didn't want the pain to be just gone... I needed the pain, I deserved the pa

♕—Delilah I felt like a lamb facing death at the hands of the butcher...I closed my eyes and reminded myself of what Lorenzo thought of me. I can do this... The white dress was clinging tightly to me as if it was a second skin. Alexander seemed to have a penchant for soft, silky, and transparent dresses that made me feel so suffocated. I felt like it was just another way he liked to torment his wives. I tugged at the neckline and muttered to myself that I was doing this for my mama, but I couldn't help but scoff as I thought it. I'd tell myself this same thing when Lorenzo's touch made me forget my own breath. I'd pretend that I was just doing this to get back to my mama, my little brother, and Jack, but deep down I knew that wasn't the case.I was doing it because it felt right. The feel of his naked skin against mine felt right. The feel of his rough hands on my body felt right. The feel of his tongue against my tongue felt so utterly right. The feel of his voice in my ears fel

♕—Delilah Half an hour later, the door opened and mama entered with a solemn smile, "Delilah, it's time..." Heartbreak crashed over me like a tidal wave. Longing for the person I could never see again, for the love I would never have the chance to cherish again, for the dreamy relationship I would never get the chance to enjoy. The flutters that would never be ignited in the depths of my soul again. The hope, joy, and thrill of the unfamiliar that I could never experience ever again. My heart felt broken and desperate, the thumps and beats echoing through my head, my throat, and my feet, all desperate to escape the confines of my flesh and run away to someplace safe. "I must inform you that all the guests have taken their seats, your royal highness. Only a few moments remain before we must begin."I entered the church, my arm intertwined with my mother as I looked around the place, trying my best to avoid the man standing at the altar waiting for me. ♞—Lorenzo I loaded up the last dead body over the pile of them, watching their filthy blood dripping down the ground. I grabbed the kerosene and doused the bodies in it. Saturday... We were supposed to hand her over to her father today but she left before that. She left with him... I had half a mind to go to Niko and found out her location, she still had a tracking chip in her arm but decided against it. I let her go...And letting her go meant I will have to forget that she ever existed... I pulled out a matchbox from my pocket and watched the men's uniform. The sigil of Onteros burning up. Those were Octavius's men that we had captured, we were supposed to return them today when he comes but Niko had other plans. He wanted Onteros and he will not rest until he takes it. I struck the match, watching the flame for a few minutes before I flicked it on the ground. The fire followed the trail of kerosene reaching the pile of dead bodies. In a moment, it was a blaze, an inferno tha

♕—Delilah Trembling in Alexander's majestic bedroom, I was unable to drift off to sleep and could only continue to wait for him anxiously. I was petrified of what would happen when he arrived, and I felt utterly powerless. After the wedding ceremony and the reception ended, he brought me to his palace and since then I had been sitting in this room while he was out there somewhere, drinking with his friends and family. I can only dread the thought of how much he will drink and what he might do when he gets back. I hope he passes out! But all the hopes vanished into thin air and Alexander entered the room making my skin prickle with fear. Alexander's gaze scoured the bedroom before settling on me and he gave me a malicious smile as he started to undress in silence, he carelessly threw his clothes on the ground before staggering a little in my direction. I stood deathly still as I took in Alexander's hirsute, intimidating and daunting physique. I could hardly believe how different he

Unceremoniously, I felt a sharp throbbing sensation in my head, forcing me to groan in agony, muffled as I was laying face-down with my head nestled in the comforting embrace of the pillows. As I opened my eyes, everything was a hazy blur. I squinted, struggling to make sense of what I saw. Through the fog, I could make out the shape of someone lying next to me in the bed. I tried to move, but an overwhelming pain and burning sensation surged through me, sending me into a panicked state. I stayed still, scared of what my husband might do if I made a noise.Gingerly I placed my feet on the ground, my body involuntarily tensing with pain as my thighs painfully rubbed together. I was naked, stripped of all my clothing. I nervously glanced down at my body and was met with a sea of bruises, with some dri

♞—Lorenzo I feel so fortunate to have found my own slice of paradise on earth - I'm not sure what I did to deserve it but I'm holding onto it. I ran a hand across my jaw as I stared out the french doors of my study, listening to two of the world's most adorable waves of laughter I have heard in my entire life. My wife and my daughter... At nine months old, Aurora had begun to creep around the house and babble some distorted syllables that Delilah desperately tried to interpret. The other day she said “baa baa” and Delilah said that she was saying “mama”. It was a long shot from mama because it sounded a little more like papa or dada. Smiling, I stared down at the ring around my finger, a platinum wedding band. I had proposed to Delilah when we celebrated our daughter's half-birthday as she turned six months old. I went down on my knee, prepared a whole speech, and cooked for my two princesses. It was the perfect night to pop the question, proposing to her with mama—Aurora's—ring

♕—Delilah Lorenzo loved his family alot... And that included us, the Costellos, and his other obnoxious brothers Scott and Marco, and god know who. The Cosa Nostra was his whole life—he wasn't kidding about that part but I still remembered what his brothers did to me when they threw me in a cell and how horrible they were but for Lorenzo, it was something to be anxious about. He wanted us all to get along. So here we were, at our home having dinner with the Costellos, Scott, and Marco. Aurora was in Lorenzo's lap as he rocked her, he was happy a man, as he had been for the last week. He didn't smile at all when I first met him but now after a week of us staying together, there hadn't been a moment where he hadn't smiled. And if he is with Aurora then it's all chaos in the house. I'm afraid of how she'll turn out when she gets older, Lorenzo had already brought her toy guns although she can't even sit right now. "So, when's the wedding?" Marco asked. I glanced at Lorenzo and he loo

♞—Lorenzo Delilah stilled, her body went rigid and Niko stopped too as they both stared at one another. He frowned, looking Delilah up and down before his gaze moved to me. "If this is your idea of a date then it's fucking ridiculous even for you, Lorenzo." I laughed, pulling Delilah close, "She wanted to see where I worked." Niko turned to her, "And how's that working out for you, Princess?" his tone was relaxed, he wasn't the one to dwell on our private relationships, and since Delilah was no more the daughter of the enemy, it was fine for him. Delilah glanced at me, her hazel eyes questioning as I nodded at her. She let out a relieved breath, her body relaxing, "So far, so good." A hint of a smile appeared on Niko's face before he turned to me, "Make sure to give your girlfriend the full Costello warehouse experience." I glanced at her, "Oh, I intend to..."She smiled, "I look forward to it." Niko laughed, shaking his head, "I'm gonna head home, take care of the rest." Niko

♕—Delilah Lorenzo and I sat at the edge of the yacht watching the sunrise with only white sheets wrapped around our bodies. I was sitting between his parted legs, my back to his chest. He had ordered a Charcuterie board, and we talked as he fed me a strawberry, I bit into it and then he propped the rest into his mouth. His other arm draped over my chest. I smiled, turning my head slightly towards him, "I think we should go home now to our daughter..." "Yeah," he nodded, "I miss my little angel too..." I watched the calming scenery before me, they had turned off the engine of the yacht while it float in the middle of nowhere, and the staff and crew knew better than to interrupt us, the perks of having a baby daddy that people are afraid of. "We should do this again as a family, you, me, and Aurora..." He kissed the side of my head, "Whenever you want...""Would you come with me to Onteros? To meet my mama and my brother. I really want them to meet you, to know you. I want them t

I let my tongue linger across my lips before wrapping my hand around him from the base and tracing my fingers up. His abs quivered beneath my touch and I glanced up at him, my eyes smoldering with desire, and he responded with an intense gaze. My lips parted seductively as I leaned forward, succumbing to my desire as I softly pressed a kiss onto the tip of his cock. Staring up at him full of longing, my lashes splayed out like a mysterious, dark veil.He moaned in pleasure as I let my tongue slide down to his balls, causing him to tense his muscles in anticipation. He fisted my hair tightly and pressed his lips against the side of my head, his throaty whispers rumbling hotly in my ear, "Do not force me to take control, princess, because if I did, I'd fuck up that little mouth of yours..." I let out a low, sultry chuckl

♕—Delilah I inhaled sharply as Lorenzo's hand slid down my bare arm leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake. My back was glued to his front, even the air could barely pass through from between us. His face nuzzled into my hair as he breathed me in. "Do you know what you smell like?" he asked huskily in my ear.I bit my bottom lip before asking, "What?" "You smell like home, comfort, and need..." I swallowed, letting out a sigh and then I felt his wine glass trailing down my other arm. Although it wasn't cold but still I shivered at the touch. My glass almost fell from my hand but I gripped it at the very last moment, clutching its neck in a death grip. Then I felt his teeth sinking into my neck as he harshly bit the skin between his teeth, pulling at it, nipping at it. I whimpered, my knees growing weak with each passing second. "Turn around..." he ordered and I did, facing him, looking up at him with eyes heavy-lidded eyes. I was gone already, I could feel the warmth and wet

♕—Delilah "If I didn't have arms," I giggled, nudging him with my shoulder, "could you still love me?" I have been teasing him with these silly questions for the last hour and he's been trying so hard to not let his frustration show, though I could tell by his forced smile that he was reaching his limits."Why wouldn't you have arms, Delilah?" he asked, keeping a smile on his face as we walked side by side, "I'd never let anything bad happen to your arms." I shrugged, "Well, I guess that's good to know. But what if something totally crazy happened and I woke up without any arms one day?" He chuckled, "That's completely crazy, but if it did happen, I'd still love you just the same." I nudged him, "Right, okay, but hypothetically speaking, if I suddenly had to go armless, would you still feel the same way?" He stopped walking and faced me, "Of course, I would. I'd still love you no matter what. Arms or no arms, you'll always be my one and only."I beamed at him before trying to thi

I blinked, not saying another word as I looked up at him and he looked down at me. My gaze dropped to the unfortunate stain on his immaculate white shirt. "You ruined my shirt!" he snapped, and my eyes snapped back to his face. An involuntary smile crept up my lips no matter how hard I tried to suppress it. Oh my god, what do I do next? Lorenzo was fully into his character, it was so funny because I never thought I'd see him acting. He raised an eyebrow as if asking me to say something, so I did... shaking my head. "It was an accident!" I said to him, "And you just wasted my coffee. I have had such a bad night, my head hurts, I'm late to work and now I don't even have coffee!" "You burned my chest?" he snapped. My gaze darted between his chest and eyes, did I really burn his chest? The coffee was really hot, I
