Chapter Twenty-Six

Roman and I got in his Range Rover and as we reversed my eyes caught Matteo's who looked pissed more than pissed.

"You okay?" Roman asked taking my hand

"Yeah," I said

"Was that the ex? Rosy's father?" He asked

"My ex yes and he's sort of her father. Not by blood but by heart," I said

"That must be hard," He said

"You have no idea. It's been a year since I saw him and the day I saw him again he brought his fiance who was pregnant with him. And the funny thing is she thinks she'll be my children's mother," I said

"But if she marries him. She'll be their stepmother. Just like the guy you'll one day marry be their Stepfather," he said

"I know but she just gets on my nerves," I said

"Okay so how about we forget about them and have some fun?" He said before we stopped in front of a restaurant

"Let's have some fun," I said and smiled at him
