After I showered I put on some clothes I found in a dresser. I wore a gray tank top and black jeans. They felt like my seconds skin.
I became bored.
I had absolutely nothing to do here. I couldn't go out of this room because the door is locked. There aren't any books to read or devices to use. I couldn't watch tv, 'cause there wasn't one. So, I had to entertain myself. So, I started cleaning.
After I was finished and everything was clean I sat on the couch. My stomach rumbled and I started craving food.
They usually leave some food in my room when I am asleep. But this morning there wasn't any. So, I just assumed they forgot or something like that.
I heard footsteps coming near my door and a lock being opened. The green-eyed man stepped inside and looked around the room,
Searching for something. His eyes landed on me and he held his gaze.
He started walking to me with steady steps. I became nervous, so, I sat up straight on the couch.
'Grace?' His voice sounded soft and secure. I answered him as I became more at ease by his soft voice.
'Y-yes?'
'Would you like some breakfast?'
I looked up into his eyes and softly nodded my head.
'Alright, come with me.'
He turned around and walked to the door. I stayed on the couch and waited till he noticed that I didn't follow him.
'Grace, come.' He said when he saw me sitting on the couch.
'A-are you going to h-hurt me?' I asked softly but loud enough so he could hear me.
He walked to me and kneeled in front of me.
'No, Grace, I'm not going to hurt you. I will never hurt you.' He said as he looked me in the eyes.
He stood up and offered me his hand. I put my shaking hand in his and softly held onto his hand. His hand was warm and soft. My hand fitted exactly in his like it was made for each other.
He pulled me off the couch and let go of my hand. We walked to the door and he silently opened it. I followed him through the house without asking questions.
When we were walking down a hallway I spotted a man. He was walking towards us and had a gun in his pants.
I whimpered and hid behind the green-eyed man. He stopped walking as I held onto his shirt from the back. He turned around to face me and look me in the eyes. His hands whipped away the tears that were on my cheeks and he took my hands in his.
'Grace, we're not going to hurt you. The man is just here to guard the house. He is not here to hurt me. You understand?'
I nodded as he let go of one of my hands and pulled me with him with the other.
He led me to a kitchen, there was a plate full of food on the counter.
'Sit on the chair, Grace.'
I sat on the chair and he placed the plate in front of me.
He took a chair in front of me and sat on it. I looked at him asking for permission to eat the bacon and eggs.
He smiled and said, 'Go eat, Grace. You don't have to ask for permission.'
I ate my food as if I was starved for a year. I grabbed the glass of water and wanted to take a big swig of it, but I stopped. I didn't want a replica from the last time I drank my water like that. So, I took small sips and let the cold water ran down my throat.
2 minutes later I was finished with eating all of it. My belly felt round again and the hunger was gone.
I looked up at the green-eyed man and blushed.
Fuck, he saw me eating like a fucking cow. He is probably thinking I'm a gross girl who doesn't have manners.
'Jesus, were you hungry?' He looked kind off shocked to be honest.
'Yeah...'
'Alright. Uhm.. you want to watch some tv?' He asked me as he looked me in the eyes with a questioning look. I nodded and he led me to the living room.
I sat on the large brown couch as be turned on the tv. He sat on the other side of the couch and we silently watched a movie.
The movie was about a boy who could fly. I think it's called 'Peter Pan', but I don't know for sure.
When I was little I would watch a movie with my mom sometimes. But not that often 'cause she had to work the whole day. Sometimes it would be too late to watch a whole movie. But after she died, I never saw a movie again.
The green-eyed man turned his head to me and started speaking.
'Grace? Do you want to know why you're here?' I nodded softly and he continued speaking.
'You know your sister and father had some debts. And your father wanted to give you to us as payment. But we didn't accept 'cause we don't do that kind of things. But your father got angry and said he would come for revenge. So, I went to your house and heard you screaming and saw your sister in the kitchen. She came to me with a knife, tried to stab me. But I shot her first. Then I ran from the house as I heard your father coming down the stairs.'
Tears were in the corner of my eyes, but I pushed them away.
He continued with the story but I already knew what was happening next.
'After that night, me and the other man found you in the dark alley and brought you here.'
He looked me in the eyes with an emotion I never saw before. I think it was hope.
'But you have to understand that you can't leave the house, only when I'm with you, we can go somewhere. But don't leave alone. Now you are one of us and our enemies are yours now too.'
'I understand it's a lot to take in but we're all a family in this house.'
I was astonished, to say the least.
I thought he was going to kill me or just throw me out. But he did exactly the opposite.
I was actually kind off relieved I could stay here. I mean, it's good here. I get enough food from them and they gave me a room. I hope I could keep the room.
'Grace?'
'Yes.'
'Do you want to know anything?'
I turned my head and looked into his bright green eyes. They had a small amount of brown in them and all different kinds of green. He had a soft look in his eyes. Not the hard and filled with hatred look my father always gave me.
I had a question. I really wanted to know it. It was an important detail to the story. So, I just asked it hard enough so he could hear me.
'What is your name?'
'My name?' He asked with a shocked expression.'Yes.'He frowned and looked me in the eyes. 'Giovanni, my name is Giovanni LaRosa.'
I looked at him as if he had grown a second head. Was he serious? Or was he kidding me? God, please let this be a joke. I mean, it would be amazing to meet new people. But I'm not good at meeting new people. This one time my mom brought a friend home with her. I was in the kitchen decorating a cake with sparkles. They came into the kitchen. And you know what I did? I fucking sprayed the sparkles over their heads. I don't know why? I don't know how? But I did it. And may I ask? WHO THE FUCK DOES
G R A C E P O VI was cleaning the bathroom as my father walked in. The smell of alcohol invaded my nose as he came closer.
Did you ever have that feeling that you felt out of place? That you didn't belong. You rather jump in front of a train then stay there a minute longer. You rather jump off a building then speak one word again. You rather slice your own throat then breath the same air they breathe.I had that feeling.

It's been two days since I've known I'm pregnant. Giovanni was waiting downstairs for me, I told him I wanted to 'Netflix and chill' this evening.I walked into the living room where Gio was already waiting for me. He had dimmed the lights and laid blankets on the couch. There were brownies, cake, and much more food on the table in front of it. Gio was sitting on the ground with his pajama pants on and a black shirt. He was looking through the movies on Netflix and stopped my 'tangled'.
It has been three weeks since we visited my dad in Italy. I already missed him and Elena, they were both simply amazing.Camilla and I were hanging out today. She told me to meet her in her room upstairs. All Gio's brothers and Camilla had their own room in the mansion. Camilla's room had pink wallpaper and a white floor. The floor was soft like a carpet and felt insanely nice under your feet. Her bed was super big and stuffed with purple and pink pillows. She had a hang out place where stood tw
G R A C E P O VWe stood in front of the big mansion of 'Family Antoïni' in Italy. My legs were shaking, my hands were clammy and my body was sweating like I was walking through a desert. I felt like dying.
I didn't know what to say. What would he want me to say?Should I be excited?
It has been two days since I've been discharged from the hospital. Giovanni's brothers and Camilla has been keeping me company me non-stop. Camilla has recovered from her wounds. There were still some bruises left on her body, but she didn't have any major wounds. I was glad about that. It was my goal to protect her from the beginning when I went into that house. And I succeeded. They found the woman named Priscilla in the basement later. She has been locked up there for hours. Camilla told me the woman helped her, she gave her food and cleaned her wounds. She did what she could. She was just another victim of my father.
I woke up after 2 days of sleep in the hospital. They took out the bullet and stitched me up. I was going to be fine but I had to keep some rest for the upcoming month. Gio has been very worried about me. He hasn't left me alone since he found me in my father's house after I was shot. He got my phone call, though. He tracked me down with the chip he placed on my phone. I didn't know that. And after I passed put the paramedics brought me to the hospital for surgery. They cleaned my wounds I got from my father and put a cast on my wrist because I sprained it.
Fifteen minutes later I arrived at my childhood house. It was old, ugly and abandoned. The wood has rotten away and broken off at some points. It looked like a hell hole, to be short.I pulled out my phone and dialed Gio's number and pressed call. I put my sound on zero so that when he wouldn't hang up my father wouldn't know I was 'calling' my boyfriend for help.
It was Sunday morning and Gio was out for the day. He had to leave the house and go to the family business somewhere in town.I didn't even know they have a family business...Back to the point, everyone was out and I had the house all to my own fo
