Chapter 73

Ario POV

“We are here,” Odin said, looking deep into the forest. We have been riding for almost four days because Odin mixed up the route and we took the longer one.

“We are here? This is just a forest,” I said. He climbed down on his horse.

“No, father, that’s what she wants you to think,” he said, bringing out his pocketknife. He walked to a different tree, stabbing it, and I just kept looking at him tiredly. I have not really slept; the journey here wasn’t so smooth because we met some warriors and cave dwellers, and we also met some rogues, and those things are vile. So when we are supposed to be resting, I stay away to make sure Odin has enough sleep while I look out.

“I must be so delusional because of my lack of sleep,” I said, yawning. I come down from the horse, stretching. Odin chuckled loudly. Then I watched as he stabbed into a tree, and the view changed. There was a hut in front of us.
