Ario POV

“I’m going to kill you!” I heard Eve yell. We all turned back, and my eyes widened as her eyes turned red. The weather significantly dropped as everywhere became cold. What is going on?

“Oh no,” Jane whispered. I turned to her.

“What is happening?” I asked.

“She has unlocked her dark magic with hatred for her sister,” she whispered, tears running down her eyes. I dropped Otto softly. He isn’t dead; I was able to save him before he did. I stood up, walking towards Eve, but Jane dragged me back.

“Don’t go near her; she doesn’t recognise you,” she said.

“But I can’t just watch her change,” I said, removing her hand.

“Listen to me, Ario; look, her eyes are red; she is not in control; she will kill you if you come close,” she said, holding me back.

“What am I supposed to do, Jane? Watch her do something she will regret when she is sane.” I asked as the air became even colder. I looked up, and it was literally snowing.
