Chapter 5

Maddox's POV

"Hey new Alpha jerk!"

Noah says as he comes up behind me and slaps his hand on my shoulder.

"Hey penis breath!"

I say smirking at him. He glares at me before pushing me away.

I about died and almost keeled over laughing when I noticed he cupped his hand to his mouth before breathing into it and sniffing it when he didn't think I was looking.

His head quickly snapped in my direction as I was bent over holding my stomach while laughing uncontrollably. He growled at me before storming away.

"Maddox, come here."

My brother hollered out to me.

I walked over to where he was standing with my father and dad. My dad quickly wraps his arms around me as if he's just seen me for the first time since I've been back.

"Goddess Maddox, I missed you so much! My dad says as he squeezes the life out of me. I laugh as I pat his back.

"Dad you just see me a few hours ago. I said still laughing.

I know but I just really missed you! He says smiling as he pulls away from the hug.

"So I was just talking with father and dad and I told him that you wanted to take over now. I got a hold of the elders and they're able to do the ceremony tomorrow. I know that's earlier than you probably expected but if they don't do it tomorrow they won't be able to come out for 3 weeks.

Wow! I thought as I listen to what he said. I know I said I wanted to take over now but I didn't anticipate that they would be able to come out so fast.

"Wow okay! I guess I should make sure my good clothes still fit me then huh."

I said as I look down at myself realizing that my clothes most likely won't fit. I kinda bulked up quite a bit while I was gone. I ended up having to buy new clothes a month ago when I tried wearing one of my shirts but it tore as soon as I flexed my muscles. One of the coolest moments ever might I add! I thought as I smiled to myself.

"Yeah well you might want to make sure Addison has something nice to wear too because they're going to want her there as well even if you guys haven't fully mated. She's still your mate and they are going to want to see her. You'll just have to do her Luna ceremony later."

He said and I felt a warmth spread throughout my chest thinking about her becoming my Luna. I felt myself smile and my dad chuckled.

It's a good feeling isn't it my father said. I looked at him not sure what he meant.

"Knowing your mate is about to become your Luna, it's a good feeling isn't it."

My father said as he looked at my dad before wrapping his arm around him and pulling him into his side. My dad blushed and buried his face into my father's chest. My father chuckled then placed a kiss on top of his head.

My parents are very mushy and lovey-dovey that's for sure I think as I watch them.

"Ouch, shit! Somebody get this damn vampire off of me!"

Noah hollers out and we all quickly look in his direction to see Julian on top of him with his fangs buried in his neck while growling.

Julian sits up after yanking his fangs out of Noah's neck and I can see his eyes are red letting me know Sid his vampire is forward.

"I told you to stop calling me pipsqueak!"

Sid growls out before getting off of Noah.

Reid laughs as he walks over and wraps his arms around Sid. Sid looks at him growling before leaping into his arms and sinking his fangs into Reid's neck.

Reid moaned then slapped Sid's ass before looking our way.

"Guys if you'll excuse us, I need to go fuck this little guy right here!"

My brother said causing everyone to start laughing as he carried a little too eager Sid back into the pack house.

"Noah, don't lose my son!"

Reid called out before the door closed.

A few minute later Noah walks over to me holding a giggling Grayson out at arm's length away from him.

"Here you take this little stinker, he just tried to bite my neck!

What the hell is up with those two vampires!"

Noah says after handing me Grayson. I laughed as I held the little man in my arms.

"That's my good little man isn't it. You bite that little Noah!"

I said pinching his cheek making him giggle some more.

"Awe, is my little man hungry still? Come here."

I said when I noticed his fangs were still extended.

I adjusted him and held him up toward my neck and he quickly latched on. I hissed at the brief pinch when I felt his tiny little fangs sink into my skin. Michael looks at me with an eyebrows arched.

"So you guys just passed him around and let him drink from you?"

Michael says looking at me as if this is the weirdest thing he's ever seen.

"Just the family, we can usually tell when he's hungry for blood. If one of us is holding him we just let him drink."

I said shrugging my shoulder that wasn't holding Grayson.

"So how do you know he's hungry for blood and not food?"

Michael asked.

"Usually his little eyes will turn red and his tiny little fangs will peek out from his little lips. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen!"

I said trying to glance at my feeding little vampire baby nephew.

I watched Michael shiver and scrunch his face up.

"That's so freaking weird!"

He said and I couldn't help laughing at him.

"Oh my gosh look at him!"

Addison says as she comes up behind me. I feel her fiddling with his face as he drinks from me.

"Oh my gosh I cannot ever get over how cute his little red eyes are. I just love when he looks at me with these little red eyes!"

She says so excitedly.

That only makes Michael look at us even more shocked.

"Yeah, I'm just going to go over here."

Michael says as he points in the opposite direction and starts walking away. Addison and I bust out laughing right away.
