Duke surveyed the bar coldly.

Every exit here had been blocked by his bodyguards. He doubted Earl would be able to flee.

In the next instant, he caught sight of a beautiful figure.

He frowned and hurried towards her. “Addy, why are you here?”

“I told you I was going to drink with my colleagues at the bar,” Adina pursed her lips and said, “Were you here long, or did you just only arrive?”

Duke could not understand why she asked this, but he still gave a serious reply. “I’ve been in my car outside the bar searching for Earl’s tracks this whole time. I just came in, why do you ask?”
