Skyler shook his head. "Well, we just had some disagreements!"

The smile on Jocelyn's face faded. "Because of me?"

Skyler’s eyes wandered for a second. "It's not because of you. Don't overthink it!"

Jocelyn left Skyler's arms, hugged Whitie and sat aside. "Well, I won't overthink it. Answer the call!"

The phone was still ringing. Skyler's eyes flickered, and then he swiped it.

The moment Skyler answered the call, Walter's anxious voice came from the other end. "Skyler, where are you? Mom suddenly fainted. Come to the hospital now!"

Skyler looked slightly shocked. "Why did she faint?"

When Skyler talked to Walter, he stood up, picked up his coat, and was about to leave at any time.

Walter's voice sounded anxious. "I don't know why she passed out. Anyway, come to the hospital as soon as you can!"

"I see. I’ll come right away!" Skyler left his dispute with Kallena behind now.

He hung up and glanced at Jocelyn. "My mom fainted. I'll go to the hospital. Stay at home."
