Walter spoke, “I just came back from overseas yesterday. If you’re free during the next two days, come home and have a meal with me!”

Skyler sounded nonchalant as he replied, “Sure! Got it!”

Walter was a little exasperated. “Don’t just disregard whatever I say. Mom keeps telling me that you barely come home!”

Skyler frowned slightly. “I’ll come back when I’m free!”

Walter did not sound happy. “And when will you be free? Also, when you have the time, bring your girlfriend home as well. Otherwise, mom will think that you’re lying to her. She wants to set up a blind date for you!”

Skyler’s frown deepened. He glanced over at Jocelyn subconsciously and lowered his voice. “I know. Tell mom not to be brash and let things be first!”
