Chapter 246

Rhode was so frightened that her soul had left her body. Then, she fell directly into Skyler's arms.

Skyler frowned, an unpleasant expression on his face. Despite his ruthless means, he could not stand idly by and watch someone get hit by a car in front of him.

The car hit the stone pillar in front of Virtue Restaurant and half of the car was dented. The driver's forehead was on the steering wheel and his head was covered in blood.

Skyler released Rhode. “Stand properly.”

Rhode's body was weak, and she stumbled. Then, she hurriedly held the wall next to her to support herself.

Skyler called Yale with a cold face. “I got into an accident at the Virtue Restaurant. You should check as soon as possible to see whether it was an accident, or someone did this on purpose.”

Yale's voice was serious. “Okay, I'll check right away.”

Skyler hung up the phone and glanced at Rhode on the side. “Rhode, I’m warning you again, if you don't want to be shut out, stay away from me in the future.”
