CHAPTER 6

Sarah, Zoe and her mom got home that day.

Her dad was so happy to see her, when Emily Bellos called her husband, Fedric Bellos that Sarah had been discharged from the hospital, he was so happy that he made the maids prepare her special dish.

After taking her bath, it was dark already, she smiled seeing her room in a clean sparkling shape. The maid really did justice to it.

Alex got home that day feeling bad about himself for all that had happened lately. He vowed never to get involved in anything that has to do with Sarah Bellos, now he has been grounded cause of some stupid stuff.

He went straight to his room which he had to pass the living room first. He could hear some giggling coming from Bonnie's room. He stopped and stared at the closed door upstairs. He walked up the staircase and stopped.

He bent a little and peeped through the key hole, he could see Fay, his sister's babysitter as she played with Bonnie.

He believed the both of them shared a mutual feeling. He knows he is supposed to make the move first, after all, he is the guy. But he want to be sure that what he actually feels for her is love and not infatuation.

He got satisfied and walked to his room.

He placed his hand in his pocket to take his phone as that letter he took from his sister, (which she wrote and was reading to Peter ) fell from his pocket.

He bent down and picked it up as he decided to read the love letter she wrote to his friend.

He sat on his bed and opened the letter as he scoffed.

"What's this? Is this some sort of Greek of Latin language? Since when did Bonnie start writing in strange languages?" He thought as he took a picture of it with his phone.

"Funny little kid" he muttered to himself as he dropped the letter on his bed and started taking off his clothes.

The next morning, the kids were in school listening to Mr. Alaric teach as Sarah walked in class exactly 10:12Am.

But to the bewilderment of everyone, instead of tongue lashing her as usual, Mr. Alaric smiled at her and asked her to go to her seat.

The students exchanged surprised glances at each other as Mr. Alaric spoke.

"Hope you're ok now, Miss Bellos?" Mr. Alaric asked her as she settled on her seat which is at the extreme of the class.

She gave a slight nod and brought out her books while he continues his teachings.

"The bitch is back" Sophia muttered to Rhoda who was sitting close to her as she smiled dubiously at Sarah.

Elena kept glancing back at Sarah till their eyes locked.

Sarah frowned at her and continued what she was doing as Elena heard her name and was shocked.

"Mrs. Gilbert, you mind telling us what you're staring at?" Mr. Alaric asked as she bowed her head.

"Im sorry sir" she said lowly.

"I am in a good mood today, so don't spoil it" He warned.

After their History class, Miss Foggs, their math teacher, entered the class and wrote boldly on the white board GEOMETRY.

"Arggh, I hate math" Rhoda blurted out of frustration to Sophia's hearing.

"That's because you are always having F in it" Sophia said sarcastically as Rhoda rolled her eyes at her.

"Good day class" Miss Foggs said with a smile plastered on her face as they returned the greeting.

"Oh Sarah, how are you feeling now? Your personal guard informed us you had an accident. Hope you are ok now?" Miss Foggs asked concerned as a lump crept into Sarah's throat.

She was tired of these 'how are you' stuff already. So much for being the Mayor's daughter.

Elena glanced back at her and noticed the bandage on Sarah's left wrist.

The bell for lunch break was rung as the students went out of the class with screams of joy.

The Freaks gathered round their normal table and this time, Alex went to order for their lunch.

Laura brought out the Psychological Record Book of Sarah and placed it on the table.

"Are you mad to bring this stuff to school?" Peter yelled almost in a whisper.

"Come on pea brain, who's gonna know huh?" Laura said as Elena took the book and started opening it.

"I read through some parts last night and was dismayed by what I saw. I know you guys would think I made it all up, so I decided to bring it here for you all to see for yourselves" Laura said as Alex came with the tray of food.

He dropped it on the table as each took a bean cake except Elena who was engrossed with whatever she was reading from the book.

"What's she reading?" Alex asked as he munched on his cake.

"That's Sarah psychological record book, Laura here was crazy enough to steal it from the hospital" Peter said.

"I didn't steal it. I only borrowed it" Laura protested.

"Yh right, what do you call borrowing without permission?" Peter asked sarcastically.

"Seriously you guys are still into that crazy girl Sarah?" Alex said lackadaisical.

"Guys check this out, it says here that there were four psychologists that handled Sarah's case and three of them died of same sickness, CONVULSION" Elena said as Alex scoffed.

"Well they just happen to die of same sickness, don't take it too mystical" Alex said.

"Damn, I didn't read that part. It says three died right? What about the other one?" Laura asked with questions flooding her head.

"After the death of those three psychologists, other psychologists refused following her case. But when she clocked 12, Mr. Ethan Saltzman.."

Elena paused and stared at Laura who seemed scared. Peter adverted her gaze to her too, including Alex who was acting lackadaisical few minutes ago.

"Grandpa?" That was all Laura could say as she dropped her bean cake to pay rapt attention. She nodded to Elena which indicated 'go on' She got the message and continued reading.

"Mr. Ethan Saltzman followed up the case and got blind few weeks later, that was when the case was closed finally" Sarah said dryly.

"Mayor Bellos closed the case because he doesn't want the news of his daughter having mental issues to escalate" Peter suggested as Elena nodded.

"Who wanna go to Bloomspring? Why don't we pay a visit to my Grandpa? What do you think guys?" Laura

asked as Peter and Elena welcomed the idea except Alex who gave them a weird look.

"Come on guys, Im grounded, I don't wanna get into more trouble with my dad" Alex said.

"Hey, you're not the only one grounded, I am also. So.. You're gonna follow us right?" Elena said.

"You sound like Bonnie" Alex said.

"Speaking of Bonnie, how's my cute little wife doing?" Peter smiled

"Speaking of wife, don't mind Bonnie, I don't think she truly likes you, she's just a kid and doesn't know much about love" Alex said with a shrug.

"At least Im her first crush and her first love letter has my name on it" Peter said with a smirk as Elena and Laura laughed.

"Speaking of letter, guys check this out. This is what she wrote. She wrote rubbish" Alex said as he showed them the picture he took of the letter from his phone as Elena, Peter and Alex laughed except Laura who took the phone and studied the language written on the letter. (This story was written by Naomi Innocent)

"You see? My sister is just crazy" Alex said amidst laughs.

"Nope, she is not crazy, she wrote the letter in Latin" Laura said as they stopped laughing.

"Oh really?" Elena said as she took the phone from her hand and studied the language too.

"So do you understand it? And how did you know its Latin?" Peter asked.

"Well you see, My grand dad is or was a psychologist before he got blind, then he was staying with us at Mystic Hollow. He talks of one of his patient that always writes in Latin. He normally bring home what the patient writes, though he couldn't decipher it before he got blind and moved to Bloomspring with my grandma" Laura explained as a figure walked past their table.

They saw it was Sarah, walking to the table opposite theirs as she settled down and started writing on her journal.

" Guys do you know what I found out from her birth records?" Elena asked in a whisper as they all stared at Sarah who was sitting opposite them.

They shook their heads sideways as She leaned closer to them and whispered.

"Sarah was born December 21st, 2005" Elena said as Peter huffed.

"That's your birthday too" Peter said as Elena nodded.

"Guys just cut this pyramid dots you're trying to join, its just a coincidence, even.."

He stopped talking as they stared at the cafeteria TV which was tuned on. It revealed Mayor Bellos being interrogated about the recent homicides that had occurred in the town.

He spoke of how pained he was to see people die as the days goes by and also talked of how the police were working tooth and nail to make sure they get hold of the murderer.

"You Liar!" Sophia screamed at the Mayor on the TV as if he could hear her.

She scanned round the cafeteria with her eyes, looking for Sarah and finally saw her. In rage, she and her girls, Thelma, Anna and Rhoda walked up to her.

Sophia banged her hand on Sarah's table who was unperturbed by her attitude.

"Your dad sit at home all day long, doing nothing about the homicide, all you guys know how to do is eat, drink and be merry while innocent people die!" Rhoda said as the people in the cafe stared at them while the Freaks watched too, and tried to hold Elena down who was trying to interfer.

"I am talking to you bitch and you are busy drawing?" Sophia asked as she took what Sarah was drawing and tore it to pieces. It made Sarah glared at her and only to receive a punch from Sophia and her nose bled.

"That's for my brother that was killed yesterday" Sophia said as she kept on punching on Sarah as her friends held Sarah down. No body dared interfer cause they don't want the STAR GIRLS to mark them.

"I wish the next victim would be you Sarah, but come to think of it, who would kill a mentally derailed kid. You're a walking corpse Sarah!" Sophia yelled and punched her real hard as she fell to the ground.

Elena struggled till her friend let her go. She raced to where Sophia and her gang were bullying Sarah and stood between them.

"Let her go" Elena said as her friends joined her.

The star girls stared at them and huffed.

"You should be glad I like your mom for working hard, trying to put that murderer in his place, though her best is not enough, else I'll put you in that state Sarah is in right now, even this freaky friends of yours can't be of match to us" Sophia warned sternly.

"Well, I'd love to see you try" Elena said as a smirk curled round her lips.

"Sophia Woods, in my office!" the principal said and left as Sophia frowned.

Somebody reported her to the principal.

"Its not over yet Freaks" she said to them as she left with her gang.

The Freaks turned their back only to find out that Sarah was no where to be found. Not even her books or anything of hers was left on the table.

"Where did she go?" Elena asked as they searched for her in the cafe.

"This is what I call, weirdo" Peter said.

Sarah sat on one of the tombs in the cemetery as she dropped a flower on a new grave stone.

That is what was inscribed on the stone.

The place started getting foggy again as the anonymous lady stayed behind the woods and stared at her without her knowledge.

She brought out a mini mirror from her bag and stared at what Sophia had done to her face.

That little girl that appeared to her in her room that day she was admitted in the hospital, appeared in the mirror.

She dropped the mirror and looked back only to see nothing.

She looked round the quiet graveyard as the place got more foggier.

To her, it seems she could see the little ghost girl in the fog.

She brought out her drawing book and started drawing the ghost she has been seeing.

She couldn't finish the drawing and it has gone dark, she decided to go home and maybe finish the drawing there.

She strode home and kept seeing the ghost at regular intervals.

Back at home, Her parents were scared already and had ordered the search team to look for her. she finally appeared at the front of their mansion as her mom ran to hug her while her dad talked to the search team.

"You scared us. Where have you been?" Her mom who has been crying said in a sober voice.

"What happened to your nose? Who did this to you?" Her mom said raising her chin up while Sarah removed her hand from her face.

Sarah walked inside the mansion as her mom whispered something to her dad after the search team had gone.

Sarah got to her room and locked the door, she scratched her head and noticed a shadow in the room.

She turned her back and saw that same little girl lying on her bed sobbing.

Sarah maintained her position staring at the little girl with a hole on her forehead. The girl rose from the bed and stood beside it which is adjacent to where Sarah was standing.

"I came to you because you are the only one that can see me" the little girl said in a teary voice.

But Sarah seemed lackadaisical as she dropped her bag on the floor and took off her clothes.

"Just look at me, my body is gonna die on the 2nd day of August, which means a week from now, I'll be like this, roaming round the world. I don't want my body to die please" the little girl said and cried as Sarah just stared at her with folded arms.

"I need your help, please help me" The little kid said and knelt down as Sarah closed her eyes and opened them back.

The little ghost girl was gone. She breathed down and took her dairy. She sat on her bed and starting writing whatever poops into her head.
