It's back here.

My gaze remained on the werewolf that stood far from me, standing tall like a human.

I didn't run away. After my encounter with it the last time, I no longer had fear towards it.

I felt calm and drawn instead.

Where I stood, I could see the werewolf making its way towards me. That got my heart pounding next.

I was thinking of doing the same, but I chose to wait instead, watching.

That's when I saw something mesmerizing. Something I've never seen before.

As it approached me, his body and height began to transform into... A man?

I gasped on seeing a handsome man walking towards me under the moonlight. His eyes glowing red, sending a tingling feeling within my heart.

That's when I felt that connection again. That beautiful flow that drew me out of my home and right here in the forest.

Is it coming from him?

My lips came separating a bit followed by my feet moving forward to this handsome being coming to me.

It soon came to halt when this young man stood before me. We were standing before one another, our eyes locked.

I felt lost while staring into his eyes.

I can't tell if he's a human or a werewolf any more. I'm just confused.

But one thing is clear. The look in his eyes is the same as our first encounter.

The wind blew right through my hair , but it didn't take my gaze away from this charming being before me.

He was  hovering around me as he drew nearer, slowly closing the gap between us.

I felt my heart skip when I saw this, but I didn't move. It's like I... I wanted him to come closer to me.

I felt his arm taking me by the waist, pulling me closer to his chest.

I gasped softly, still staring at him. Feeling his arm holding me firmly and his hand taking me by the chin, lifting my face to his level.

His eyes shimmered down at me, giving out a beautiful aura.

I felt lost, almost like I'm under a spell.

The captivating connection that drew me out of my home came strongly.

I thought I was feeling it alone, not until I heard from him. "It's truly you, " He said in a charming tone.

This means that the connection is indeed from him. He was the one calling out to me.

But how?

I had the urge to ask, but his lips brushed against mine, closing the gap between us. Gently locking it mine with a lot of savory, kissing me passionately.

"What is happening? Why am I allowing a stranger to kiss me? " I couldn't explain what was going on to me.

All I could feel at the moment was nothing but pleasure.

His arm pulled me closer the more and his kiss came harder on me. Almost like he has been craving my lips for a long time.

I felt lost and moved to hold him close. My arms came around his neck, pulling him closer to myself for more.

I've read a lot of magical stories about a princess meeting the man of her dreams, but I never placed myself in that position before.

This is indeed magical.

Our lips came separating but the gap still remained closed.

His eyes fell on me along with mine.

That's when I noticed a curve escaping his lips, which left my heart glowing for him.

His face came caressing mine lovingly, just like the last time we met.

And like the last time, I held him close feeling butterflies within.

"Xavier, my name is Xavier," He introduced himself.

Together, holding hands, we were strolling through the forest side by side.

"That's a beautiful name," I commented, looking at his charming face.

His eyes and body... It's the best definition of perfection.

"What's your name? " He asked, putting a halt to our feet, as he leaned against a tree, pulling me into his arms.

My hands came against his chest before feeling his forehead on mine.

I lifted my eyes to look at this man who had clearly fallen head over heels over me.

"Sophia," I responded with a smile, still looking into those tempting red eyes of his.

"Sophia. It's the first time I'll be hearing such a beautiful name, " He complimented, leaving my cheeks glowing red.

I tried to look away shyly, but he wouldn't let me. He wants to see my face and admire me more.

It's clear in his eyes, and I love it.

"What are you doing in the midst of human's?" He asked, dressing my hair to the back.

His question sounded funny to me, but I still have an answer.

"That's because it's my kind. I am a human."

"That can't be possible. Are you pulling my legs? " Xavier asked, chuckling at me.

Smiling, I said, "I'm not joking. I'm a human."

My response slowly took the laughter off Xavier's face. He looked serious now.

Why is he looking like that?

"No Sophia. You are not human," He said, letting go of me.

This was beginning to feel weird.

"I am human Xavier. I am a human being," I repeated so he would hear me.

But Xavier swayed his head at me and said, "You aren't human Sophia."

"I am, " I said, stepping away from him.

"You... You saw me the other night with my kind. I am a human, Xavier."

"If you were human, you wouldn't have heard me when I called out to you. " He drew closer to me, almost closing the gap between us.

I made an attempt to step away from him, but his arm came cupping my waist, pulling me into his hold.

I gasped softly looking into his eyes. All I could see now was a man filled with desperation.

What does he mean?

"You aren't human, Sophia. You are a werewolf like me. My mate, My Luna."

"What?" I stared in shock.

Me, a werewolf?

Sophia POVAs soon as Lady Cecilia's arms wrapped around me, a strange sensation washed over me. Something I couldn't figure out exactly but I knew there was more to it.It was as if I have been transported to a different realm or a different place. A sense of Deja Vu, settling in me, making my mind go blank immediately. I found myself seeing a vision. I saw myself as a child, running through a dense forest with my mom. We were been chased by something which I couldn't quite make out what it was. Suddenly, a massive wolf appreared from no where. I found the wolf protecting my childhood form. The wolf's fur was a beautiful shade of grey, and it's eyes seemed to burn with an inner fire. As I watched, a smaller female wolf tried to get past the big wolf. Her aura seemed familiar. It was similar to Lady Celia's,but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. Just as I was about to delve deeper into the vision, Lady Celia's voice cut through the haze."Welcome once again dear. Lady Clia's POV She had come into our estate on a sunny afternoon, wide-eyed at the grand structure of our ancestral home-a sprawled stone wall with intricate carvings, all that faced her, our outsider, a human. I watched her from my balcony as she followed Xavier up in the stairway. My son's eyes shone bright with affection, and an unfamiliar bitterness clutched my heart. A human. "Lady Cecilia," Xavier's voice cut into my thoughts as they reached the top of the stairs. "This is Sophia. I wanted you to meet her." Forced, I wear a warm smile on my face, arms extended while in approach. "Of course, Xavier. Welcome, Sophia," I spoke smoothly while pulling her into a friendly light embrace. And deep inside of my heart I wasn't happy. Does this fragile human really think she's going to walk beside my son? In the eye of my mind, Cindy's face. She had been my choice, perfect Luna, powerful, loyal, made for the job. And here stood this breakable human whose scent was little more t

Cindy's POVI walked through the town hall down to the market place and then to the other parts of the pack. Admiring everything, how the people were laughing and relating. I admired the trees and the luxurious things I could lay my eyes on. Moving back to the directions of the marketplace, I smiled seeing all those things that were on display for sales. It had become a habit for me to do this, taking walks round the pack, admiring everything. They would all soon become mine as I would soon be ruling over everyone and everything with Xavier, it's just a matter of time before he becomes an Alpha, I chuckled to myself at the thought of that. I imagined myself being called his Luna, I didn't know when I finally got drowned into my world of fantasy. She was completely startled and stunned, shaken deep down to her marrow and shivers ran down her spine. She sat with me in the parlor and we were both busy with our phones. I just stared at her as I pondered on these thoughts. "Xavier? Is anything the matter?" She asked, when she noticed my continuous stares."No, nothing mom. It's all good." I replied, looking away. I did not want to tell her what was going through my mind. She is a very difficult person to deal with, coupled with the fact that I struggled a lot to get her to like and Sophia, although she still has doubts too, but at least, she finally agreed with me."Then why the stares?" She asked further. She knew I was lying. "I know that look boy." She teased."Mom come on, I said it's nothing." I groaned. "I'm just adoring your beautiful face. It's been a while." Cindy's POV I stormed away from the hideout, feet crunching onto the path of the forest as my anger was welling up and brimming over as my body shook all over; my hands, my rising and falling chest, with my head replaying and over how Xavier could pull such a thing: how dare he bring a human- her into our pack? My fists were clenched at my sides, and wordlessly, I swore this had to be over with now. Sophia-the human girl-didn't belong here.I couldn't let that slip by, but what Xavier was doing was just a slap in my face-more than that, it was against the bond of our families, the marriage vow between our two children, such a tradition and legacy stitched onto concrete and alliances by our parents, which Xavier was trampling like they meant nothing.Yet something must be done, but what was it? Thus I churned and paced about the woods aimless, as if there had been no sense; and neither did the sunbeams, which filtered through the leaves, soothe my churning and angry mind. Kill her-a v

Cindy's POV The silver bullet lay in my palm, its weight deceptively light, heavy with implications. I turned it over, watching the faint glow of the intricate runes etched into its surface catch the light. My wolf stirred forward in my mind, her energy tense and uncertain."You've been quiet," she finally said, breaking the silence. The walk back to the clan felt like it took a bit longer than it did, but I didn't mind. I couldn't stop smiling-my mind raced with the discovery I had just made. The cold night air brushed against my skin, but the warmth of my revelation kept me comfortable."You're really happy," my wolf said, 'Why are you smiling like that? Does it have something to do with the bullet you took from the assassin's corpse?" she sounded curious and perplexed, and I couldn't help a soft chuckle."Why do you think?" I answered."Do not play games with me, Cindy." she snarled angrily."What did you find?"I froze in my tracks, throwing my head back so that I could see the sky, a brilliant moonlit. The forest was quiet and silent only broken by the quiet crunch of the rustling leaves as the wind played through the branches. Instead of answering her, I asked one myself."Tell me," I said slowly, "do you know who the former Alpha is?My wolf paused for a second. "The one before Xavier's father?""Yes," I
