Chapter 25.

Emma was so terrified, she dropped her bag on the floor and rushed to her children, who were confused by her reaction.

“Open your mouths!” She said frantically, attempting to get the chocolate out of their mouth. She stuck her fingers into their mouths, desperately trying to get them to gag.

“Mommy, Stop!.” Aziel cried out, his eyes tearing up. “You're hurting us.”

Roland and Jenny were shocked and at a loss for words as they watched Emma's panicked state

Roland had to intervene and pull Emma away from her kids.

“The chocolate must be poisoned, Let them throw it up.” Emma cried, tears slipping from her eyes.

“Emma, what are you talking about?” Roland asked, bewildered by her words and actions. “Why would chocolate be poisoned? Why are you being so agitated.” He questioned her.

“We need to take them to the hospital.” Emma pleaded desperation and fear in her voice. The thought of losing her children was more than she could bear.
