"Yes, if Alpha Rafael agrees, he will have one more ally," Kael grumbled as if it was a big effort to agree to this. "We, Fae, never turn back against our own."

My surprise is written all over my face. What the officials of the Seelie Court were proposing was unimaginably great. If the Fae agree to work with Rafael's pack as one, we can rule them both and have no issues.

I don't think this has ever happened before but if they are willing to do this because of me, I don't know what to think. I'm speechless. But then I remembered something and suddenly turned to my aunt.

"Aunt Isolde, what about uncle Darius?"

"What about him?" A scowl appeared on her face again. She really doesn't hide her anger towards her brother. Was he the older one or younger one? I'm curious but I don't ask.

"Don't you think this is unfair to him? He has, after all, longed for this position for a long time like I heard. If he hears that the Fae are going to merge with our pack, how would he feel?"
