Chapter 4 "don't disturb me"

It was a silent ride in the car. No one spoke a word as the car hummed along the highway. The only sound was the radio playing softly in the background. The atmosphere was tense as if something was hanging in the air. The passengers sat in the car in silence, each one lost in their own thoughts. No one dared to break the silence as if speaking would bring something no one was ready to face. The car continued down the road, the silence only broken by the sound of the engine.

Both Laila and Riya stepped out of the car stretching after a long drive, shaking off the stiffness from being in the same position for so long. They took a deep breath of fresh air, relieved to have reached their destination. “ mh!! Finally. Laila slammed the door shut behind her, her face red with anger. She marched up the stairs to her room and slammed the door shut there too. She threw herself onto her bed and grabbed a pillow, burying her face in it. Tears began to flow.” I will make you suffer you, silly girl!!! Riya helped Mellissa out of the car and told The maid to take her upstairs to Zick’s room.

“ We are here ma’am. You can go in.” The maid said.

Mellisa stepped into her husband, Zick’s bedroom, and stopped dead in her tracks. She felt a chill in the air as her eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room. There on the bed was her husband, Zick, and another woman. Both of them were completely naked.

Mellisa felt a surge of anger and betrayal. Tears started to well up in her eyes as she watched her husband make love to the other woman. She felt like her heart had been ripped out of her chest.

Zick noticed her presence and froze. The other woman scrambled to snatch the bedsheet and cover herself.

“You!!! “ he said angrily. “What are you doing here!!!! ?”

MELLISA didn’t answer him. She just stood there, silently watching him with a mixture of shock, hurt, and rage.

Finally, she spoke. “I guess I know the answer to my question now,” she said, her voice trembling.

Zick didn’t say anything; he just got off The bed walking toward Melissa

Melissa turned to leave the room, her tears streaming down her face. She felt like her world had just come crashing down around her.

“ Stop!!” He yelled angrily as rushed towards her and grabbed her hand. “ You are not going anywhere, if my grandmother found out about this, I won’t spare you.” He pulled her inside and closed the door.

“ You will sit here quietly, I will go and finish my unfinished business, don’t even try to make noise and disturb me.” He said and walked back to the bed.

Mellissa felt her breath leaving her body watching her husband make love to another woman in front of her, her heart breaking into pieces as she listened to their loud cries.

She wanted to scream and run away, but she was frozen in shock. She stayed there until Zick and his girlfriend silently slipped away without even looking back.

Melisa was left alone with her broken heart, wondering how her life had come to this heartbreaking end.

The next day………

Mellisa opened her eyes and found herself on the couch in the bedroom. She looked around and saw that the sun was streaming in through the windows and the birds were singing outside. She realized it was a new day and she was ready to start it with a positive attitude. She got up, stretched, and went to the bathroom and took a shower, Zick did not come back when he left yesterday and she did not care at All.

Entering the bathroom she took off her clothes a put them on the washing machines while she took a shower but by the time she was done, she spanned her clothes dry and put them on. Melissa was very beautiful She had long chestnut hair that cascaded over her shoulders, framing her petite, delicate face. Her eyes were a deep brown, and her lips were full and inviting. Her body was slim and toned, her curves accentuating her beauty. As she walked, she carried herself with grace and confidence that made her stand out from the crowd. She was a beautiful and hot girl, and everyone around her could feel the warmth of her presence except for those who had narrow-minded people like Zick, Laila, and her aunt Quincy.
