CHAPTER 26 – DEXTER IS A HEALER

They have exaggerated what he has done to his nephew Ralph. Some said, the ankle of the boy is totally broken, is very much swollen but Dexter able to heal in three hours only. They even talk, that Dexter, has made the birds, come to him every morning, as if he has able to talk to them, and they obey him, as their master. They concluded that Dexter has gain extra-ordinary power, the reason why he can make miracle, because he has lived with the enchanter for three years, and he has gained some power from her.
That night, after dinner, Dexter is again on his favorite hung out, the shade of mango tree, he is sat down, in the bench located there. He contemplating what have happened and what he has done, that he himself, is also surprise, he can do that, healing

The weather condition becomes erratic and totally unpredictable, the sunny days, was suddenly interrupted by torrential rains that covers the slopes of the mountain, thereby concealing the picturesque view, from the onlookers. The serene and peaceful mountain sides and surrounding areas covered by tall towering tress and the lush of vegetation, was suddenly devoured by the harsh weather condition, without warning. The localized thunder storm, had done its worst into a nightmare. Pathways in the forest, was gone and hard to trace, radio transmission was made impossible, UHF and VHC radio transceiver were useless. A small group of mountain hikers, composed of ten people, most are college student taking up BS Forestry including their professor, in a nearby university, was caught, flat footed, in a worst weather condition, no one of them had ever imagine in their wildest dreams

Dexter becomes the incidental leader of group of rescuers who have found the group of students in the forest. They have found them, but the task ahead of them is still enormous and complicated. Most of the boys are sick, the main group of rescuers, may arrived in a day or two, the supplies they have brought with them is only good for one day. Their food is now gone, including the medicine for the sick, they need a lot of electrolytes, the boys most of them, are dehydrated. They have suffered from a severe starvation, and needs nutritious food, to regain their strength. In their present condition, they cannot even walk for an hour hike, going down the mountain. Something must be done, or else nothing would change. All of them, will become weak, and no one can help them in the forest, except themselves. “We will look for food, our food supply is now gone” Dexter told them
MY GIRLFRIEND IS A FAIRY CHAPTER 31 – DEXTER IS A MYSTERY MAN OF THE FOREST
The occupants of the camp wake up early that day, it is because it is very cold, and they could not help themselves but to tremble in a freezing cold. They boiled water and prepare coffee to warm their bodies. They also add firewood in bonfire near the camp and place themselves around, it is a big help to them. One thing good, all of them, are feeling ok, because they have taken medicine and eat enough food. Little by little those, who are sick are getting better, and all of them, can now stand up, walk and help themselves. If this will continue, they will be able to start hiking down the mountain, and later out of the forest. They are having constant contact with the main group of rescuers, and they will meet up that day, if everything goes well. The main group of rescuers are twenty person plus the group of Dexter composed of thirteen person, all in all, they are thirty three person, such big group cannot move fast in a thick forest, taking into consideration, they are carrying provision such as food, water, medicine and tents for night camping, they know well, they will remain in the forest for several nights. Their main problem, all their electronic gadget are running low of charge most especially their radio transceiver. Their solar lamp did not take enough charge, for simple reason, that the sun is not shining brightly for at least, eight hours, most of the time, it is raining and there is no sunshine. One of the strange thing that happened, while they are walking down the forest, their compass, becomes wild, and it is not pointing in one single direction. Dexter falls asleep embracing Shayne while she is sobbing, he wakes up with Shayne in the morning still with tears on her eyes. He can feel the suffering of Shayne, he can feel her fears and bitterness. She cannot blame Shayne for her wild fear, that he will leave her again, without any assurance, when he will come back. He himself, does not know, when he will come back, once he is again out of the forest. His mother forbids him, to do so, she believed Shayne is not human being, but she is some sort of mythical creature living in the forest. Featured in video news are the group of students who are narrating what they have experienced in those faithful days, their hardship, their challenges, their ordeal, and the person who save them from certain death “Dexter Enriquez” THE PERSON WHO WAS LOST IN FOREST FOR THREE YEARS AND COME BACK ALIVE”. The topic becomes a never-ending series, one after the other, later, it was focus to Dexter, the strange things he has done in the forest witnessed by the students and rescuers alike, they called him in so many names, DEXTER HERO OF THE FOREST, THE MAN WHO TAME WILD ANIMALS, THE MYSTERIOUS MAN IN THE FOREST, DEXTER THE MASTER OF THE FOREST, and lastly THE MAN WHO CHOICES TO STAY IN THE FOREST. The LGU and the local police force had discussed the protocols how they are going to address the problem, and catch the lawless men, who had escape in the forest.
