My hands were shaking while trying to press the gunshot wound in his chest to stop the bleeding, according to Jessica.

But they are not stopping until Dad coughs more blood.

I sobbed painfully, seeing him fighting for his life.

I shook my head as I held his hands. “No, no, no. Don't close your eyes, Dad. Please, I'm begging don't close your eyes–” But he suddenly stopped moving. “D-Dad?” I tried to move him by slapping his face lightly, but he's being unresponsive. “No… No… No! Please wake up.” I begged as I hugged him tightly, burying my face on his neck.

But he won't move anymore. His chest stopped pounding and the same with his breathing.

I only cry uncontrollably as I keep blaming myself for being stubborn.

It was my fault… I should have listened to him… I should have just hid behind that goddamn tree.
