“Ah, there you are!” Kelan, the younger of the twins, exclaimed once I opened the main door and invited them inside my chamber.
“Finally, you show yourself,” Declan added, frowning a little, but he entered the receiving room anyway before Kelan could do so.
“We didn’t mean to keep you both waiting,” I told them while closing the door. They quickly claimed the sectional sofa opposite the unlit fireplace, stretched their spindly legs, and bored their icy eyes on me.
“Where is your mate, Su-Anateph?” Kelan answered. He was the happy-go-lucky of the two, with electric blue hair and obvious dimples. Declan was the opposite. His disposition was always gloomy, and he was easy to point out because of his metallic red hair.
I stopped near the door to my bedroom and opened it.
“Kelan, Declan, I want you to meet, Rayna Chase, my mate.”
