GODFREY'S POV.

The next morning, the sun had barely risen, casting a soft golden light over the room as I sat in front of my father.

It was high time I set the record straight. I was only going to marry Georgina and none of them could stop me.

“I have thought long and hard about it, Father,” I began, my voice filled with fear as my heart was pounding loudly in my chest.

“I love Georgina. She’s the one I want to marry.”

My father didn't look surprised, but I could see the disappointment in his eyes. “You know that Alicia has been here for so long, waiting for you to return. She has been loyal, Godfrey. She deserves more than just to be cast aside.”

I clenched my fists in frustration, trying to check my anger in check. “I know, Father, but we have talked about this. Alicia and I agreed we’re not getting married. She understands that.”

My father leaned back in his chair, his gaze narrowing. “You don’t think you could change your mind?”

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   A price of betrayal

GODFREY'S POV.The garden was quiet, the kind of quiet that felt heavy, like it pressed down on my chest. The fountain trickled softly behind me, but its sound was hollow. The bright flowers swayed gently in the wind, but even they seemed lifeless. It had been weeks since Georgina fell into her poisoned sleep, and no amount of time in this place could give me the peace I desperately needed.Every day, I came here to escape reality, my harsh grief, trying to convince myself that she would wake up. But every day, I left with the same emptiness. Today was no different.“You’re destroying yourself.” Alicia’s voice startled me. I turned to her, and she inhaled deeply and sat beside me on the stone bench, her sharp eyes scanning my face. “You’re thinner. You’re not sleeping, This isn’t how to save her, Godfrey.”I sighed, leaning forward to bury my face in my hands. “What if she doesn’t wake up, Alicia?” I whispered, my voice hoarse. “What if this is it? What if I have already lost her?”

I drew my cloak tighter around my shoulders as I made my way to the dungeons. Pamela’s exile was justified, in fact, I was very happy she would be taken far away from Georgina. She had been nothing but trouble to Georgina. As I approached the dungeon entrance, I saw Dawn waiting at the base of the stone steps. His face was etched with a mixture of seriousness and anger, his arms crossed over his chest, immediately he sighted me, and he walked over to me, placing his hands into his pockets. "Godfrey," he called. "We need to talk.”I sighed, nodding my head in disapproval, my steps slowing down. "Dawn, if you are here to argue for Pamela, I have made my decision, Her exile is non-negotiable."Dawn stepped closer, his boots scraping against the cobblestones. "She’s my wife!" he growled. "T

The sky was clear, the air cool and fresh, filled with the scents of wildflowers and pine from the nearby forest. Our wedding wasn’t just an ordinary one…it was a sacred werewolf ceremony, a bond blessed by the Moon Goddess, witnessed by our ancestors, and celebrated by our pack. The ceremony took place in the Moonstone Glade, a magical clearing hidden deep within the forest. The ground was covered with soft green moss, and petals of white and red flowers were scattered everywhere. An arch made of silver birch branches stood tall at the center, decorated with roses. Georgina had insisted that we did our wedding here and I agreed to it. “Are you nervous?” David whispered behind me. “Because I am.”I chuckled, turning to him. “I am the groom but you look more nervous than I am.”That was a lie, my heart was on fire, and I was only faking my calmness. • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The hardest Prison in the South

The sun was scorching as it beat down on the vast prison yard, dust swirling in the dry wind. The South’s biggest and hardest prison was no place for a man like Thomas. He had spent his life in luxury, waking up in silk sheets, eating the finest meals, and being waited on hand and foot, but here, comfort was a far-gone fantasy and suffering was their reality. Sweat dripped down his forehead as he swung the heavy pickaxe against the unyielding ground. His hands, once soft and uncalloused, now bled from the rough wood of the handle. His muscles ached, not used to such brutal labor, Around him, hardened criminals worked without pause, their bodies already accustomed to the endless toil.A low chuckle echoed behind him. “Look at the northern King, struggling like a newborn pup,” a voice sneered.Thomas turned, his breath heavy. Standing before him was the prisoner’s captain, a massive man with thick scars running across his arms and a jagged-toothed grin. His name was Darius, and he r
