The next morning came as fast as lightning and I couldn't be more excited. I had racked my brain for ways to get Godfrey to finally give in to my seduction.

I walked into the bathroom with a towel in my hand as I continued to think of how to go about my plan. It isn't going to be like the other day that my plans got ruined, I won't let that happen today.

"Joana!" I called from the bathroom, I sat in the small pool in the bathroom. She came running in,

"What is it? I'm preparing your clothes," Joana said but I waved my hand, gesturing her to stop.

"How about we go on a picnic!" I asked and her eyes glowed.

"Wow, Georgi, that's so sweet of you. Thank you so much, I'll ask the maids to get some—"

"Huh, the picnic is for me and Godfrey," I said to her and she frowned. Her fingers formed a fist while I burst into laughter. I was laughing so hard at her, that I didn't have plans of taking her on a picnic. In fact, until Godfrey finally agrees to be with me, no one is having fun!

"So wha

"My queen!" The two maids bowed their heads, shocked written all over their faces. I could see their hands brushing their skirts, arranging them properly. My heart clenched, my throat tightened as I tried to swallow. My fingers clenched the basket of fruits in my hand. Was Godfrey sleeping with the maids? Why haven't I ever thought of it before? He could be receiving love elsewhere and that is why he doesn't want to have anything to do with me. After all, the servant's quarters are different and far from my chambers. "Where…" My words failed me. Clearing my throat and acting like I wasn't affected even though I was, my eyes darkened as I asked again, "Where are you both coming from? And what the hell are you both doing in the male's quarters?" "We… we are sorry, my queen," they bowed their lousy heads that I so wanted to knock. How dare they touch what belongs to me!!!"I asked you a question! I do not want your stupid apology. What the hell are you both doing in the male servant

When we got to the stable, I was smiling like a clown as I watched him go check on the horse. He seems to have noticed that I wasn't telling the truth about the horse being in labor right from time."I think she lost the baby," I pressed my lips together when he didn't stop staring at me. He shook his head before saying,"The horse wasn't pregnant, my queen. It's male," I bit my tongue and chuckled, walking over to where he stood beside the horse, I asked,"You know that very well, why did you come along with me?" His fingers were caressing the horse and I wished for a moment there if I could be that horse. He didn't reply to my question for a while. I watched him keenly before saying again,"Godfrey," "My queen, can we not do this? I am not interested. I don't even like you," "Lies!" I spat out. My eyes shot daggers at him as I reminded him, "It was this same place that you confessed not being able to stop thinking about me. I know you like me, Godfrey. I know it." My hand found

My mouth twitched, and my eyes darkened as I stared at Godfrey. What the hell is wrong with this boy?!? I was about to yell at him when I heard footsteps from behind, I turned around to find Nathan coming out of the woods. "Nathan," "My lady," he had a smile on his face and I frowned. What was he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to be sleeping?"What… how…" "I came in search of you when I couldn't find you in the castle. What are you doing here in the woods all by yourself?" All by myself? I turned back only to find the spot where Godfrey had stood a while ago empty. Where did he disappear to?"I… I… I came to get some fresh air." His brows raised as he came forward to where I stood, he picked up some stones and began to disturb the water with them. "You've been getting a lot of fresh air lately. Are you sure you aren't expecting?" My once-searching eyes moved to Nathan with a deep frown on my face. What is with this idiot? First of all, he came here to disturb my moment with G

“Are you sure, Georgi? We can't afford to get caught” Joana eyed me and I rolled my eyes. “You're speaking like if I get caught then you'll face the punishment. Do not worry, Godfrey left before he could see us” I replied confidently before adding, “I think,” “You think?” Joana cocked her head, her lips twitched and I chuckled before standing up from the bed. I didn't want to think about my uncountable failures in trying to seduce Godfrey. Making my way into the bathroom, I went to have a cool bath, soaking myself in the mini pool.“But how come Nathan didn't sleep?” Joana asked, disrupting my thoughts. I glared at her, at least my thoughts were where I could drown myself in yet she came to disturb me. “Maybe he has been taking an antidote for the TanTan that it no longer affects him or maybe you didn't put it in his food—” “I swear I did,” Joana cut me off, making me shrug. We will never know but I have learnt my lesson. To be extra careful. And because Leslie was as interested

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Questioning

Godfrey's POVI didn't know whether to bless the moon goddess for sending Beta Nathan at that moment or not. That woman was such a seductress and for the second time, I was falling for her tricks again. I knew what I was supposed to do and what not yet I followed her. I don't know why I still find it hard to refuse her. She had so much impact on me that I cannot explain. And that's to Draco, my wolf who had signaled me of someone coming. With great speed, I had pushed Queen Goergina away from me like she was some plague. I didn't know what I would have done if I had been found in that position with the queen of Firedon. My head would have been hung in the center of the pack square. I didn't even give her an opportunity to speak as I rushed into the woods leaving her there. Hiding behind a tree far away from her, I stood there listening to their conversation. She wouldn't have been able to save us. She can't. Beta Nathan was keeping a watch on her, following the instructions of Alp

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Suspicion

Georgina's POVI didn't know what pulled me to this side of the castle, I wasn't sure but I found myself walking there. I began to hear murmurings that made me pause. My heartbeat increased because I could clearly recognize the voice of the two people I was hearing talking. “What if I'm caught? I'll be the one who ends up in jail!” “And who says anything about being caught? I gat you,” I heard Joana say with so much confidence. I pushed the door open, my eyes shooting daggers at the both of them.“Really? Really Joana?” I asked. My hands on my waist as I continued to yell at her,“You know I am interested in him and you gat him? Joana, am I your enemy now that you don't want my happiness?” “Georgi, it's not—”“It's Queen Georgina” I quickly corrected her with my index finger pointed at her. “And you…” I turned to face Godfrey who bowed his head as he tried to explain,“It's not what you think. We were doing anything,” “Shut up!” I snapped. Joana kept shaking her head, signaling m

Georgina's POV “I'm not the one you should apologize to, Georgina. It's Godfrey, he must be so hurt,” I bit my lower lip, “I know, I know” I fell on the bed in frustration. I had messed up. Why do I keep doing that? “What should I tell him?” I asked Joana who looked at me with furrowed brows, “Really?” She asked with a chuckle, one that annoyed Georgina but she was more interested in getting to know what she should do with Godfrey. “Yes Joana, really. I need your help. Tell me what I should tell him. You know I'm sorry, how do I go about it?”“I don't know,” Joana replied with a shrug. I know she knows but she is just being annoying. “Come on, J” “Just go do what you have to, Georgi.” “You don't want to help me? Fine! I'll do it myself!” I spat out in anger and walked out of the room leaving her there. After taking a few steps away from the room, I sighed knowing that I had let anger get the best of me again. When I looked up, his eyes were searching everywhere,“Godfrey, I'm speaking to you” “My queen,” he tried to take his hand from mine, “We are at the garden. • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Almost caught

GODFREY'S POV. At the party, I stood by the door, leaning against the wall. My mind kept going back to the strange sounds I heard coming from a room earlier. I remembered how the queen was peeking into the room. It was not like her to do something like that. She was usually very respectful of others' privacy, at least not my privacy, but even with that, who could have been in there that made her act so differently?I glanced over at the queen. She had returned to her seat without a word, but something about her seemed off. She looked distant, as if she were lost in some deep, dark place within her own thoughts.Curiosity finally got the best of me. I decided to check who was in that room that had caught the queen’s attention. Quietly, I slipped out of the party, careful not to draw any notice. As I moved down the hall, heading toward the room, I heard faint footsteps behind me. Someone was coming. My heart hammered loudly in my chest as the person approached me. I was too scared to

Slowly, I turned around, almost too scared to see who was behind me. Standing there was Godfrey, watching me with a concerned look on his face. "My queen..." he started to say, but I quickly reached up and covered his mouth, silencing him.I couldn’t let him speak or make any noise; I didn't want those to brat in there to know they were being watched. The look in his eyes showed his concern and confusion as we heard the girl's loud moans. I turned back to the room and turned back to him. The last thing I wanted was for him to see what my husband was doing in that room.Without saying a word, I grabbed Godfrey’s arm and began to pull him away, leading him down the hallway. My mind raced with what I had just witnessed, and I felt a mix of anger, disgust, and sadness. I kept my grip tight, not letting him ask questions or loo

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The temptress

GEORGINA'S POV.I walked through the halls, the loud music from the party fading behind me. I didn’t really know why I was looking for the king, but something inside me felt it was necessary. It was as if an invisible force was pulling me, guiding me to find him.My footsteps echoed in the empty corridors, and I glanced around, searching every corner. The king wasn’t anywhere in sight. The more I walked, the more I felt like I had to keep going, as if he was just around the next turn. But each time, I found nothing. The rooms were quiet, the air still, and it felt strange being away from the party, away from all the noise and people. I felt a slight unease, like I was chasing something I couldn’t catch. I turned another corner, hoping he might be there, but again, the space was empty. My heart sank a little, unsure of why I felt this urgency. Where was the king? And why did it feel like I had to find him right now? But no matter how far I searched, he wasn’t there.I made up my mind

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   A masked party

GEORGINA'S POV. The party had already begun, and the music blared loudly through the room. People were laughing and chatting, but I sat quietly, my eyes fixed on Godfrey. He stood across the room, looking calm and composed, but all I could think about was when I would feel his strong rod sliding inside me again. The memory of our last time together flooded my mind—the way his touch made me moan, the thrusting, the sweat dripping off our body, the taste of his tongue. The sound of our moans played over and over in my head, impossible to forget.I was lost in my thoughts when Pamela suddenly touched my arm, pulling me back to reality. I flinched, surprised, as she sat down beside me.She had insisted on throwing this welcome party, trying to hide the shame of Prince Benjamin’s rejection. Thomas, her father, agreed to the party, wanting to cover up the fact that his daughter had been rejected by the prince. It was all just a distraction, a way to make things look normal.Pamela didn’t

GEORGINA'S POV. As I watched Beta Nathan disappear into the hallway, I couldn't help but smoldered at him with resentment. His final words lingering in my head, and although he didn't say it directly, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had just been threatened.“I swear if you so much as to touch Godfrey's hair, I would kill you,” I muttered, clenching my fist in anger. Joana appeared at my side, her face etched with concern. “What happened there?” she asked. “Why did the king suddenly summon you?”I sighed, brushing a hand through my hair. “The king called me in to question me about Mill’s death. He thinks I should have stepped in, that I should have done more.”Joana scoffed. “He always wants to put all the work on you; he knows that you are the real woman in this palace,” she whispered. “It is good the king left it in my care; for the first time I am using his incompetence to take care of Godfrey.”Joana frowned, her eyes narrowing. “Does he suspect anything about Godfrey?”I s

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The king's Anger

Author's pov. Alpha Thomas paced back and forth in his office, his face filled with anger and frustration. He stopped suddenly, glaring at Beta Nathan, who stood nervously before him.“How could this happen, Nathan?” Thomas demanded, his voice low but filled with anger. “Mill was our finest warrior, a man that led thousands to battle and always came back victorious, and now he’s dead. I left you in charge while I was away, and this is what happens.”Beta Nathan darted his eyes left and right, struggling to find the right words. “Alpha, I understand your anger,” he began slowly. “We are still investigating. It seems Mill was poisoned, but we don’t know yet who is responsible. We are still searching, but the murderer has covered their tracks well.”Thomas’s eyes narrowed in anger. “Poisoned? And you have found nothing? How could you let this happen under your watch? You were supposed to protect the kingdom while I was gone, Nathan. Instead, one of our own has been killed. You failed.”

How could she be so wicked to think about that?“Mother, please that is the only way I can be happy,” she pleaded.“No,” I shouted. “Pamela, are you hearing yourself?” I snapped.“Mother, you know this more than I do, the moon goddess won't give me another mate till he is gone.”“She would certainly not let you get married if you kill your mate,” I eyed. “Who gave you such wide thoughts?”“Mother,” she shouted.“Pamela,” I shouted back. “We are taking another person's life because you want to have a life.”“Mother, he is just a slave,” she shouted throwing the pillows to turn ground.“And he is someone's son, someone's brother, a friend, you need to start respecting people's life.”“Mother, who do you love more?” Sh blurted out.“What!” I scoffed. How could she asked me that question? I know I also love Godfrey but how could I place her above him…no, I would place Godfrey above h

Yes, we have the king, he must have enjoyed himself over there, draining his balls with perfect ease. How pathetic for me to wait for such a man. The king’s carriage rolled into the palace courtyard, its shiny wheels casting a glow to the ground, The horses snorted, their hooves clattering on the stone path. Around the courtyard, people stood quietly, heads lowered, waiting. The carriage slowed down as it neared the steps of the palace. Everyone stayed still, well except me of course, I was hisses every second. Finally, the carriage stopped. The slaves ran to the door gently opening the door of the carriage. The king slowly stepped out, his face brimmed with a bright smile. Joana moved close

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Syncing with Draco

GODFREY'S POV. Sam led me to the edge of the woods as the morning light filtered through the trees. We walked quietly, the ground soft beneath our feet, with the sound of birds singing above us. The air was cool and fresh, carrying the scent of the damp trees, As we went deeper, the trees grew taller, their branches creating a soft canopy. Fallen leaves crunched gently with each step and the distant rustle of the wind filled everywhere. We didn’t speak, just walked together. Sam was the name of the man, after much begging for him to train me he finally accepted but ever since then, Draco went silent.
