As soon as Kirklin got on board, he had a light meal and did an internet call to check up on all members of his family including his grandparents to know how they were faring. Before he knew it, his 1 hour 15 minutes flight was getting ready for landing.

By the time he got off the aircraft, he turned off the airplane mode on his phone and a couple of messages dropped but he was too busy to check them. He moved to his hotel immediately, dropped his luggage in his room, and then proceeded to the police station thereafter.

On getting to the station, the efficient officer informed him that one of their bosses had just authorized the release of Mr. Gary and his family as was the norm whenever they had a police case.

Kirklin wasn’t surprised because Mr. Gary appeared to be a crooked person so he calmly asked: "Does this boss of yours know how horrendous this case is?"
