“Why don’t you ever take us out with you? Are you ashamed of us?” A voice stopped Natalie in her tracks.

Natalie sighed, feeling tired because of the late-night shifts she was working, “Where do you want me to take you with me? I’m going to work. Someone has to make money to keep this family going.”
