Chapter 25: Restless feelings

Anthony arrived home that evening, unable to shake off thoughts about whether Lerisa truly liked him. He sighed and made his way into the mansion after parking his car in the garage.

Mrs. Beatrice was unhappy with how Anthony had rejected Lerisa. She decided not to bring up anything related to Lerisa again, accepting in her mind, 'Maybe Anthony and Lerisa weren't meant to be.'

Anthony walked into the living room and found his parents seated in the dining room. He greeted them, "Good evening, Mom and Dad," and walked toward the dining room to join them for dinner.

Mr. Joshua wore a calm expression, while his wife, Mrs. Beatrice still frowned, recalling how unhappy Lerisa had looked when she left their house that afternoon.

Anthony pulled out a chair and sat down at the dining table as Sandra served them soup and locally made fufu for their supper.
