The World Is Unfair

***Kyle's POV**

I was in my office, pacing from one end to the next, when Ray rushed into my office. “Boss, sh…she's here!”

When he informed me, I quickly got up from my chair. I actually wasn't expecting to see her just yet. I was still preparing my mind, but now that she's here, it's better to face my fears.

“Boss, should I send her to your office, or you'll like to meet her in the visitor's meeting room?"

I would have preferred the visitors room since there's much space, but knowing what Fancy is like when she's mad, I better not take her where the entire company could easily eavesdrop on our conversation.

"Boss?" My secretary snapped me off my deep thoughts. "Just send her in here," I muttered, without looking at him.

I looked around the office and it seemed to be in perfect order. I glanced at the table where tea was placed.

It's been five years and I'll be seeing her for the first time. I don't know what to expect.

I searched for sharp objects and thankfully there's none at
