Guilty Feelings

***Kyle's POV***

# A week later

I was on my way back from the fields after practice when I got a call from the hospital my father was admitted in that he had another attack.

Without time-wasting, I drove down to the emergency room and saw my dad in a terrible state. Tears ran down my cheeks, seeing him in a pitiful state. Verbal statement has been taken from Mr. Bright, still it was difficult for me to reopen the case. They requested more evidence since it had been long; the case was closed, and a verdict had been issued to worsen it.

What should I do? My dad doesn't have that much time to live, and there's no way I'll let him die without getting him out of jail. Even if that was the last thing I can do for me, I'll surely do so.

At this point, I became terribly desperate. I need all the help that I can get at this point.

Just as I was thinking about what to do, my phone suddenly rang. Since it was in my hand, I peered down at the caller and saw that it was Fancy. At that moment,
