The air hung heavy with grief as Aaron approached Maite's mother's home. The once vibrant house, filled with laughter and warmth, now seemed to be shrouded in a veil of sorrow. Maite’s mother, her face etched with lines of grief, her eyes swollen from crying, welcomed him inside.

“Aaron, my dear,” she said, her voice cracking with emotion. “Thank you for coming. It means so much to me.”

Aaron, his heart heavy with empathy, pulled her into a comforting embrace.
