We have many choice for what happens in the future. Choose the thing that we think is good, then we will love it.

The view outside the office window was cloudy. I sat there staring at the computer screen occasionally. Many things I thought about, all quite draining and mental.
"How odd you silent, usually the spirit is working on the tasks that have accumulated," said Daniel to me. It's true he said, just looking at the pile of paper in front of me feels like throwing up. I prop up my chin in lazy feeling, put the pen on my upper lip while pursed my lips. Focus my eyes on the pen.
"Want coffee?" The baritone voice interrupted my reverie. I put the pen back on the table.
I lifted my head to confirm who have that voice. Rafi? Then my gaze shifted to his hand that was holding out a cup of coffee. I accepted it because I was currently thirsty.
Again and again without saying much he went back, as before. Indeed, people do not like small talk. He offers another coffee to Arumi and Daniel. They looked excited when received Rafi's gift.
"Thanks, Fi." said Arumi and smile at him.
"Thanks, bro!" I saw Daniel embracing Rafi.
My gaze turned to the small bowl Rafi gave to me. Latte, my favorite drink. Apparently he knows my favorite drink.
"Thanks, Fi!" I shouted.
I wave, say thanks to him. For a moment, he turned the head even though it seemed faint I was sure he was smiling.
_
Those round eyes never looked away in another direction. The gadget in hand was a concern that the girl in front of me did not want to pass, who else but Arumi.
"Nad, are you busy on this Sunday?" asked Arumi. I turned to her. Her gaze no longer focuses on the phone screen.
"Umm, there's Rum," I continued to put the rice into my mouth with gusto. Not forget to swallow water so that I’m not choked.
"Ah, it's not fun, even though we want invite you to join a party of our office friends who’s have birthday soon."
Daniel spoke up. His mouth which was full of lots of potato wedges kept on talking, spurting everywhere making Arumi look disgusted.
"Swallow first and then talk, dirty you know!" said Arumi.
The girl pinched Daniel's shoulder angrily. Wiping the table full of scattered tiny potato chunks. I chuckled seeing it. They are a perfect match.
"Uh, what day is tomorrow?" I asked them. The two of them stared at me for a while then looked at each other.
"Saturday."
"Saturday!"
I just remembered. Tomorrow my job contract as a new babysitter will start.
Patting the forehead, my hand reached for identity card that was lying on the chair next to me. Open it, then look for small card given by the man.
Get it!
I looked closely at the identity card. A full name, address, mobile number listed. No need to bother I have to meet him. I breathed free, fortunately I put in the located that i could reached.
My bad habit towards something is senile. I often forget to put something down, then forget about it. Maybe cause of the age factor. Ah, how could it be when my age is only 23 years old, 10 months old. Not too old to get dementia.
However, it is never applies to bad memories. Not. Even when those memories I want to forget so much, I always remember them.
Life can’t be as what we want.
There’s something can’t be easily forgotten, there are things that you most want to forget but still make an impression that you don't even want to disappear.
"Why, Nad?" asked Arumi looking at me confused. The glass in his hand put on the table. Likewise Daniel, he occasionally directs his gaze to me, it's just that he is still busy serving food in front of him. I shook my head while smiling at her.
There's no way I could tell him that I also have a part time job with CEO of that company. I put the paper back in the bag before they tried to force it away. Both of them were seen nodding their heads for some reason.
"You guys, don’t you’re feel bored, with our job now? Monotonous and nothing changes. Tired, I want to rest," said Arumi. The girl looks eagerly shifted the gadget. Daniel nodded beside her, it seemed he agreed with Arumi's words.
I smiled briefly before speaking to them,
"You can say that you’re tired, especially complaining, but remember there’s still many people out there who are not as fortunate like us. Didn't have a job, and live under the bridges terrible in the streets and can't even eat like we do now. At least a day can still eat 3 when we returned home could still lie down. We, actually a few of the many people who are lucky from the harshness of life. “Uh, sorry so mellow like this .... "
Both of them fell silent.
There was a sad look on their faces. Apparently, a little of my words made them understand better. Because life isn't just about complaining.
"Sorry, Nad. I'm complaining a lot because lately I'm so tired lot of a trouble,"
"No problem, complaining can be tired like what Nada said. But remember, you have to be grateful."
Daniel replied. We smile together. Today with them, I have learned to be grateful even though sometimes I still complain about this to the Life-Giver who is very kind to give many things and forgive human mistakes for the many bad rights that have been done.

"Sir, three packs of chicken satay, yes." I said from the table. As usual, I sit while waiting for the order to finish. It sure tastes really good, because I often buy chicken satay in here. So there's no doubt about that.
A dining area that provides seating for visitors. Also, the night situation filled with many stars makes people definitely stand to sit a bit longer in here.
A man who had almost covered white hair in his entire head, smiled and then he nodded at me. His name is Mr. Rahmat, a man who have 5 children and they’re still teenagers, still working even though he was old. Being the backbone of the family is not easy. If in this case, I’ll definitely remember about Father. Ah, I don't want to cry anymore.
The smell of the chicken satay is really tempting. From the wagon I could see smoke rising above it. Several skewers began to be grilled on the grill with the fan occasionally. Can't wait to bring it to home and eat with Mother and Alif. This thought makes me happy.
For a moment my eyes blurred. I rubbed it so I could see clearly. There, under a street lamp I saw someone walking towards me. The black hoodie also has a hat on its head. Because I don't want to seen as annoyed, I look away.
My phone on the table its shook. On top of the locked screen, a messages from unknown numbers come in.
I knit my brows.
Looks like the number is familiar. I unlocked the screen and immediately hit the message box icon.
"Tomorrow, don't forget to come, I'll wait at home."
I grumbled in annoyance.
Even though if I didn't accept the offer, tomorrow it should be a day for middling.
Ah!
The days to laying down myself is gone. I lean my elbows on the table, stroking the head that began to throbbing dizziness.
A light pat on the shoulder ruined my daydream. Shocked, I turned my head in a hurry. Black hoodie and gray hat. He's the man that who want to coming here. I squinted, confused what kind of response.
His hand took off the hat from the head. This man orderly his hair position.
"You--!"
"You--!""Rafi," He said. He chuckled as he closed his mouth. I looked up, the light blocking my vision, I don’t even know what kind of face it was. Although I believe its belongs to Rafi’s voice."Rafi!" I confirmed once again that this person was indeed Rafi, my classmate who rarely spoke and didn't even like small talk."May I sit here?" He asked."Yes, nobody forbids anyone can sit down." He laughed after hearing what I said. Is there anything funny? I scratched the back of the nape that didn't itch."What are you doing here?" I asked curiously."That …."He pointed to the chicken satay cart. Short but clear the point. I understood then nodded."You?" He asked back."Tha- ...."I did the same thing what he do too, pointing at the chicken satay cart and speaking using that intonation. Why he looks like a different types? Rafi in the office is a very differe
Sunlight crawled through the slit of the window. I covering my head with a pillow to avoid the light. I’m still feel drowsiness, I sitting down to start a little exercise. Starting from pulling my head to the right then to left, until I heard a cracking sound, then I did the same to other limbs such as hands and waist. When finished I got up from the bed to the window. Pull the curtains and open the window. Wind of this morning hit my face and its feel cold.I took a deep breath then exhaled, I did over and over.I yawned then look at the clock on the wall of the room. And,At 9 a.m. Want to scream, but I hold it back. I ran to the bathroom, not forget to bring the towel hanging behind the door.Slightly leaned to the side and almost fell but my position was back to normal when I managed to reach the wall.HufftWith full strength ran back to the bathroom to finish the ritual bath a
"Kids are like that. They show their naughtiness just to be attention, they hate being ignored." The baritone voice startled me. Soon i looked back."Um ...." I tightened the grip on the strap of the bag. In a situation like this there was an awkward feeling ambushing. This man looked at me as usual, cold and creepy, at least that's my personal opinion. That cold gaze made my heart shrink. I was prepared the consequences of punishment if only that happened. His eyebrows knitted together, passing me by then approached the boy."This is Sean, 10 years old, he's my younger brother. Today I want you to look after him. Whatever, maybe want to hang out or play. I’ll allow everything." Those burly hands grabbed the shoulders of the boy named Sean. Soon I saw a smile on the boy.His younger brother? How many difference years they are? Why do I think that Mr. Malik is the boy's uncle? I clear my throat and closed my mouth so I couldn’t be heard when
The sky seemed blue with white clouds moving away. The wind blows coolly against the face.We just arrived at the Mall yard. Given that Sean wants to play many things there, it makes Mr. Malik unable to refuse his younger brother's request."Let's go!"I am surprised. How it must be, this boy pull my hand to follow his steps. I saw Sean doing the same with Mr. Malik's attractive hand. I glanced at the boy, seen a blush of happiness emitted on his handsome face. I'm so happy. What is this? Why everyone staring at us? And, why my cheeks are getting hot? Everyone we passed must have whispered incoherently, some of them screaming hysterically and some were staring at me.What? Where is my fault?"Uh, He really handsome, but he have a girl." Faint, but I can still hear this woman talking to her friend. The cynical gaze, was directed to me."Yes, both are beautiful and handsome, it fits."
A clearing throat sounded, make me spontaneously release hug from Arumi. Mr. Malik was standing in front of us, I looked for Sean around him but there was not. Looks like the boy is still busy playing.Daniel stood next to me, he bowed slightly in respect to Mr. Malik, as well as Arumi. I don't know why it suddenly felt as formal as in the office."Sean said he want to play with you," He said then, soon he turned back around and walked away from us. Just like that? Geez short on and clear. This is what makes office employees find it too cold and creepy.I looked one by one starting from Arumi, nervousness overtook both of them, they were not used to Mr. Malik's attitude. I thought.I said goodbye to both of them. They nodded in agreement then quickly left there. I think they are scared. That’s making me laugh.Mr. Malik was not far in front of me. Speeding up my steps, I stood behind him. As a babysitter and also an employe
The reddish sky looked dazzling to the eye, a sign that it was time to go home. We spend almost all day at the Mall. Waiting for Sean to play. Our steps just exited the lower floor elevator, walking side by side. Sean walked between us, he was in the middle.Sean rubbed his eyes for a long time. Mr. Malik, stopping Sean's hand, caught both hands and then lifted the boy into his arms."Sean, sleepy, want to go home," He muttered softly. I who was standing right next to Mr. Malik, patted the little back, trying to relax him.Sean was too excited to spend his day playing with his brother. Perhaps, for him this precious day should not be missed. Rarely do they gather like this. That's what I concluded when Sean was sulking earlier. It seems that Mr. Malik never has time to play with his younger brother because his job as CEO takes up a lot of his time.Yes, I understand how Mr. Malik feels, he must have a hard time making a choice wh
At half past nine I just finished breakfast with Mother and Alif. Mother stood carrying dirty dishes to the kitchen while I saw Alif he was sitting stretched out on the floor, his gaze focused on the many study books on the table. He is too eager to achieve goals. I smiled watching his persistence."Sister! Alif wants to be a doctor when you grow up. So you can treat other people. Then for example, you can take care of Alif and Mama, you don't have to pay. It's free ... free ... free!" said Alif a year ago, a month after Papa's departure. Alif is determined to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. She felt guilty for not being able to do anything for Papa until the end of his life. Therefore, he has a dream of helping others who need help.Last night when I returned home, Mama got angry because I didn't give her any news from morning to night. Alif looked normal, but after I talked to her she didn't answer, she seemed angry. After I talked carefully about th
All the way to Mahendra Family house I couldn’t get rid of this annoyance. Scowling all the way and making Mr-Slamet-the personal driver of the Mahendra family, as he introduced himself along the way, protested and laughed at my very creepy expression, he said. Let it be, what don’t know if I'm upset?I'm splashing. My gaze turned out the window. The car just entered the gate, we were greeted by the security guard I saw yesterday. He's still wearing the same clothes. I wonder, don't they change their clothes, or have another uniforms? Good question. The car stopped right in front of the garage. Mr. Slamet turned to me with a smile, I'm sure it was his code to get out and he could put the car into the garage immediately.I tightened the handle on the strap of the bag, opened the door, inched out of the car.In front of the terrace a middle-aged woman greeted me, I hurriedly greeted her. "it's arrived, Miss Nada," said
"Nada!""Yes, Mom?""Your friend came, let's go out first. You tell that you’ve got better now" Mother said from the outside this room. Without asking any more questions, I shuffled out of bed and hurriedly put on my jacket to cover my tight underwear. The door opened, Mother’s figure was gone. Maybe she going on the downstairs to make a drink for them.I peeked from above looking at the living room. Their backs looking so familiar. Arumi and Daniel they came. I carefully descended the steps, tightening the buffer, so as not to fall. They welcomed when realize my existence. Soon both of them immediately stood up for a moment after seeing me.Arumi led me to sit on the living room sofa. His eyes were fixed on my face, touched my chin then tilted it to the right then left, after which he said anxiously,"Nothing was scuffed, right?"Her ridiculous question pissed me off. She thought that I’
"Come on." He said. Mr. Malik sat next to me to make it easier to help me up. His tight hands are under my armpits, help me to stand with my own might."Just a small body, but heavy," He said sarcastically in my ear. Heavy he said? Even though a month ago my weight was only up to 55 kg. Huh? What, weight he said to me? I’m not weight any at all!I'm splashing."Sean, you just bring the bag. Bye, you just wait on the downstairs!" The boy ran quickly out of the room. W-what?So ... he left both of us?I didn't have time to stop Sean from leaving. He's gone too fast.I wanted to walk alone. But in this physical condition will not be able to hold my weight alone, besides I must go to the downstairs. Which there might get hurt. I just surrender to be helped by this ice creature.Somehow every time being alone with him like this feels awkward and clumsy. What kind of man is he, he is not good to finding conversation o

How could it be, even he often laughs to me when I get fail, also heartless, cruel, cold! It would be too much to mention it one by one. How can this woman say that I am special to Mr. Malik. That is a liest. The woman stood with her back facing the window. From behind, I saw her black hair fluttering in the wind. When my gaze turned to the photo above the nightstand. The woman turned around, walked closer to me.She touched my shoulder, led me to sit on the large bed which I guessed was her room. Large and very luxurious filled with many expensive items. My eyes couldn't stop combing the view across the room. Fortunately, this woman didn’t protest or feel uncomfortable. In this huge room, I make sure its about twice of size my room. Ther
