BUMPED INTO AN EX

**BEAUTY'S POV**

After my collaboration with Mrs Helen,I went back to my desk, received an email for mr Bruno,I have to deliver it to him,I never wanted to,after what happened at the meeting but it's my job to do this

I looked over his post,he was not there,I got up and walked to Jessi

"Do you know where mr Bruno is"

"I think he is in the photo department,check him there"

I nodded and walked towards the corridor leading to the photo department

"Emmm beauty can you throw this into the trash for me"

May ordered,she extended her hand holding an empty smoothie can

Her classic finger nails matched with the colour of the bottle ,would  make one think she choosed it for that purpose

Jessi cuts in

"You are not handicapped are you?, Kathy is enough pain,don't even imitate her"

Jessi snapped 

"I never mentioned Jessi,and who is imitating kathy,beauty is an adult who can make decisions,stop barking like a bit*ch..

Jessi stood up ready to go physical with her

I had to stop her before things get even more heated

"I dare you may, because Ferd have seen your tiny tities,will never make you toy with me"

"Jessi.

I tried to calm her

"Really ,you dragged the CEO into this,you are really stubborn,ain't scared of losing your job right? You got a lot of nerves ,but you gonna cry soon"

May snapped back

"May...

She looked at me angrily and hissed, ignoring me

Then she threw the can into the trash and went back to her desk

"That's it,you take your own shit by yourself, you can't order her around , you're no boss of her,you can only toy with fred on bed don't your mess with my friend "

"Please Jessi ...it's okay, please just stop already" I pleaded  with Jessi

"You're just jealous of our relationship"

Angry may suddenly snapped 

Oh great ,she got mad and they are not going to listen to me,I decided to let them  be

I walked out of the office and went towards the photo department,I found him

He was supervising a photoshoot of the new models,I envied them,their body proportions, slim waist and that spot lights 

I walked slowly over to him

"Mr Bruno"I whispered

He turned and gazed at me,his gaze could make any lady jealous of not having him to herself alone

He said something to the camera man,and walked over to me

"You have a mail from my inbox,should I send ....

"So what's going on here....

Mr Hathaway asked, same moment CEO Ferd walked in and greeted him respectively,his assistant must have told him that,Mr Hathaway was in the company at the moment

"Look at him all saint up" I mumbled to myself 

"Sir the new models are in for the photoshoots"

The director of photography replied

"Where's Kathy?"Mr Hathaway demanded

"Am here,I will be next for the photoshoots"

Kathy walked ,wearing our latest designer lingarie

A make up artist followed ,was about  getting her ready for the photoshoot

I just stood there like a Christmas tree

Same with Bruno and some other trainees too

"I have a suggestion "Kathy snapped all of a sudden

She brought out her phone from her F&F bag and showed Mr Hathaway

"I found this trending on Twitter,guess what ,this is an eye opener..

We all listened attentively 

She continued 

"It's a pic of our prince charming, dear Bruno,funny this image of him got even more rating than our summer designs,what if he model our designs...

Her eyes sparks with excitement 

Everyone agreed to that

"He is a fashion icon,so it's not a big deal if he model for his own company eight?"she continued 

All she wanted was to work with bruno,that chance everygirl dream of,a chance to caress his hard abs and feel his touch and maybe get him to fall ..

She breaks in my thought

"He is handsome and perfect visual,with the both of us as the face of this company,I know we will take it to the next level and......

"Kathy am not a model"

Bruno interrupted,with finality in his tone and arched brows

Mr Hathaway cuts in

"Well son,for the good of this company,you will have to model our designs,not a big deal,don't you want our company to stand out?

"I dont think I can do this...

"Ofcourse you can,fred will take over from here"

He  instructed and left

Bruno was choiceless,he seem really uncomfortable with the situation, but he was so gentle to argue and fight for his own choice

Then he looked at me,I didn't notice at first but then our eyes met,he didn't even blink,like they're asking for permission to go on or what?

I looked at Kathy , to Mr  ferd,then back to him

Did they say anything about me and I didn't know

Why is he still staring at me or am I the one staring at him,he is really handsome, I wish I can steal him and keep him to myself 

Bruno sighed 

"Alright am in"

I got my mind back to the reality 

The new models cheered loudly,having a guy like bruno in their modeling department, is a dream come true 

Kathy rushed to grab him like a hungry dog

The lights got set,and the photographers were getting ready for their shots,also the editing team

I stood far ,in the corner of the room watching everything, waiting to speak one on one with him so I can deliver my message

"Please Pull off your shirt,sir Bruno"

The director instructed

"Do I have to?"

"Yes please,get close to her,be more romantic"

Lucky Kathy ,her smiling eyes says it all,I wish I was the one in her place,but it can never happen not with a weight like mine and this face

The jealousy was obviously written on the faces of other female models

Bruno came over to me unbuttoning his shirt

My heart leaped

I could see through his stainless white singlet how huge his chest was,I swallowed hard ,and fist tightened, I think I need to hydrate 

He turned his back to me

"Help me please"

"Huh?

"With the shirt...

"Oh...ok..."I swallowed hard again,why on earth does my throat feels so dry and pulled off the shirt 

"Damn he is hot!!"

I screamed in my head

His glowy complexion and a perfect body proportion is enough to make any lady pass away

This heart breaker is all round perfection and am so..

"Thanks"he replied gently,breaking in my thoughts then he went ahead to take the photos

He doesn't look happy,and looks like he was forcing it

"Sir Bruno stop please,you kept looking away from the camera,what's with the distraction?,you guys should come see this"

The photographer complained,he looked pissed,his face expression was really funny ,he is so

followed by Kathy's loud hiss

Everyone got infront of the laptop, I peeped from the back

He was looking over towards my side?why?

"first timer?,i dont think so,cus you have been in magazine covers even as a child model,what's with the distraction?

The crew started mumbling

"Please patience,everyone patience please,can we take more ,Sir Bruno you have to focus on the camera Please,let's get it right everyone"

The director instructed again breaking into my thoughts

Kathy looked so pissed

"CEO can we take a break before continuation please"

Ferd wasn't pleased at all but Bruno's father is in the company,he dare not belittle Bruno

"Whatever"

He replied

Bruno thanked him and walked over to me

"You're sweating"I said and handed over a handkerchief from my pocket.

He took it and thanked me

"As I was say...

Before I could finish he held me by my hand and walked me out of the office 

I didn't ask him anything,I was silent curious to know what he is up to

We got outside the company building

"What happened?"

I asked him curious

**BRUNO'S POV**

"Get into the car,trust me"

I replied

She must be really curious to know what am up to,I love how she didn't argue and trusted me,as soon she got into the car,I closed the door and joined her

"Am trying to get away from work"

"What ,but you are addicted to your work"she question surprisly

"Yh"i said slowly like i was going to regret it later, but I feel like talking to her , and being with her ,work isn't everything addicted to,I stare at her ,she turned to me,our eyes met,I quickly looked up

"Well am glad you getting off your addiction,you can't work everytime,it's not healthy"She said softly

I looked at her and smiled ,am glad she cares about me

"So where are we going exactly?"

She asked

"Paradise valley"

"I heard it's the most romantic place for dates,the place is expensive.wait why are we going to this place exactly"

I chuckled loudly

How come she suddenly become this talkative,maybe around those girls she always feel inferior and insecure I guess

"It's not meant for couples only,we are just two single  co_workers going there to chill,there's much more to life than just romance,you know?"

I said without even knowing the meaning of what I just said 

She sighed deeply

"Tell me about it"

The way she made her face while saying that, cracked me up again

"Why are you laughing so much,are you okay?"

She asked innocently, and  curious ,she effortlessly funny and cute

"Am fine ...help me get the leather bag,on the back seat please"

"Which one?"she asked looking at the backseat

I watched through the the front mirror

"The black one"

We reached our destination

I stopped at the parking lot

Meanwhile she's still struggling to get the nylon

"I can't grab it..."she said frustrated

I think I should help out

"Let me help you my short friend"

I teased

"I got it ....,same time I looked back at the backseat our faces crashed onto eachother

but the lips did their thing,one thing is sure,I like the feeling of this,I freezed same with her

our eyes staring into each other's,hers looked more shocked,it was totally unexpected 

Then she pushed me back,impulsively 

We both got cold feet

Someone should talk first,I turned to her but ended up glancing at her lips,hungry for more 

I forced my face back to the front,then I guess I was addicted to looking at her

She closed her eyes , embarrassed,her fingers were shaking nervously

I have to do something,and apologize,it's a mistake,but I have to respect her as a woman and apologize so she won't feel bad

I held her shivering hand gently

She opened her eyes, they're wet,she was staring at me sadly, tear dropped slowly down from one of the wet eyes,I dried it up with a thumb

My eyes won't get off her face down her lips

"I..I..emm

I wanted to apologise but I was obsessed and heed over heels that moment,and also stupid

I kissed her this time, I opened my mouth ,she went along with it,then just like that

She gave me a very resounding slap,it did get me back to my senses

"Open the door I want to go down!!"

She tried to hold back her emotions

"Am sorry"

"Just open the door ... please"

"I wasn't toying with you,I... really

Her face made me stop talking

I opened the car door

She stepped out,I sighed with my eyes closed,I messed up ,I never wanted this,I just want to spend time with her and have a conversation

I got up and went after her

**BEAUTY'S POV**

I wasn't thinking straight or looking at the direction, where I was going,mumbling to myself 

Am just something for him to play with,he must have noticed I liked him ,and think I should be made a toy,and maybe in two months he will dump me and call me ugly and fat..just like others

Mr bruno?a man like that having feelings for me,ha! ha!! ha,he thinks am a fool,he can get every lady in this universe, and then ,he want me?,I maybe be fat but am not stupid

Along the way

I bumped into someone,embarrassed to look up at first

"Am so sorry"i apologized politely

"Beauty?"

I had to look up, raising me head to look at the speaker, my face turned paler, what a day !!!

"Beauty what are you doing in a place like this?"

In front of me stood  Andre

My ex boyfriend

He was wrapped up arm to arm with a beautiful slender lady,I was jealous of her beautiful body proportions 

Bruno caught up with us,and stood behind me like a guard 

"Who is this?"Andre asked,his face looked really envious looking at Bruno,he was intimidated by his height and appearance I guess,Mr bruno is that type of man that can make good looking men appear stupid 

I sighed deeply 

"My co_worker and boss's son"

I replied

"He looked familiar though"

The lady contributed,gazing very hard at Bruno

"Hy am Andre her ex boyfriend"

He extended his hand towards bruno

"Bruno,you are really unlucky being her ex"

Bruno said accepting his handshake with a naughty grin

Andre got mad 

"Am sure it's the opposite,no one is lucky to skip on a hippo everynight"

Andre sneered and  faked a laugh

"You must have dated alot of animals,so you finally settled for a worm?"

.oh no what are they doing

I stole a glance at stacy ,she felt that but she seem to like Bruno not minding his words.

"Guys why don't we go to a place and talk things out huh?,am Stacy by the way"

His new girl seem nice,she offered me a handshake,I accepted and smiled back awkwardly 

"Am Bea"

She wasn't even offended by their argument

We got into the hotel ,romantic garden,we got a table for four and sat down

Bruno pulled the chair for me,and help me with the order

I wished he didn't,Andre will think am his play thing,that's why he is acting nice to me

After minutes of silence ,Andre started

"I want to apologise for everything beauty,if you are holding any grudge against me please forgive me"

Is this the same andre that dumped me years ago,apologizing?

Maybe he's changed, am going to tear up

"Its fine,we are good andre"I replied softly

"I just want you to understand, I reallly can't keep up with the snores and drolling at night,the fish smell,the odours,the heaviness.

"I understand you andre,you can stop apologizing I already forgiven you long ago"

I cuts in,I know what he is doing,to make me feel bad again,what did I ever do to him,to deserve all this humiliation 

"So you are her co_worker? what are you two doing here I mean this place is nothing  office related"

He asked Bruno with a mocking  grin

But Bruno simply ignored him

Just then stacy screamed in high pitch tone 

"Oh my!!!,I knew it"

We all turned to her confused 

"I said it ,you looked like someone,you are .. Bruno Hathaway,the young billionaire and heart stealer,my favorite fashion idol,oh my!!!,I am following you on all social media platforms,I love you Soo much ,am a huuuuge fan,oh my gosh!!"

"Can you lower your voice please"Andre snapped angrily at her

The excited lady nodded

Andre jealousy was obvious

"Well Some rumours also had it that he is also gay"

Bruno Chuckled 

"What's wrong with gay people andre?"stacy fired at him

"Well you are wrong,I am sexually attracted to ladies"Bruno cleared him

"Awwww that's sweet"Stacy snapped and winked,smiling sheepishly at Bruno

Stacy kept getting flirty with Bruno even in Andre's presence

The food we ordered were brought to us,I was nervous about the whole conversation so I rushed the soup and spilled it on my body

My face blanked out with shame

"Oops sorry"

Stacy said to me

Before I could get my handkerchief from my bag

Bruno already got his

"Are you hurt?"

He asked in a whisper,I ignored him,I knew Andre must be staring

"Let me see your palm"

I showed him

He damped my palm with his handkerchief  and gave me to clean my chest and laps

After I couldn't look up,I was so embarrassed,I know I will embarrass myself infront of Andre

"I wish I had someone to look at me the way Bruno hath looks at you,it's like his eye is meant only for your body ,fixed,are you guys really co_workers? because I love this chemistry"

Stacy suddenly gushed

I glanced at Bruno ,our eyes met,I adjusted a little from him

"He got a target ,once he gets it,my old friend will be broken again"Andre said and drank his wine

"Come on babe,don't sound so shallow,not all Men are like that"

His girlfriend cuts in

"So apart from gossiping like a woman,and being shorter than the three of us, what else you do for a living?Mr... what's your name again"

Bruno bites back

Till now I never realized am a little taller than Andre

His new girlfriend is a tall lady too

"Excuse me!!"

Andre sounded furious

His girlfriend was holding back her laughter,she's really a crazy fan girl for Bruno, whatever he does seem perfect to her

"I just ask you a question,like a friend,am ....

Then he turned to Stacy,who was still drooling over him, smiling and staring blinklessly at him

"...well Stacy can you tell him..who I am ?"

He smiled at stacy

Bruno might be a quiet type but once he open his mouth,he is really a different person

Andre looked at Stacy 

am certain Stacy will disappoint andre ,from the way her eyes sparkles when Bruno asked her to describe him

"Alright babe,this man right here is perfect..so perfect,he is ..

I rolled my eyes

The look on Andre's was priceless beyond embarrassed

"He is my crush,my everything,he got everything when I say... everything

Andre couldn't take it anymore

"Shut up bitch ,can you just listen to yourself"

"What I do?"

Stacy replied innocently

Andre left the table angrily

He's really hurt

I know Andre for years and I can tell

I unintentionally got mad,well I still have a slight feeling for andre

"What are you doing, bodyshaming him?"

I whispered to Bruno

He ignored me like I did to him minutes ago

"Well I saw the this coming maybe am the next in line"

I said out 

I stood up and went after Andre

**🎤BRUNO'S POV🎤*

I took a shot from my wine glass angrily

Staring till she's out of sight

I sighed and buried my hand over my face

Stacy cleared her throat,I hesitated then looked up

"I know you are into her but hey am here,like I exist duh!..she's not the only girl on this table"

I sighed and Ignored her,then I  looked towards the direction they went to

drumming my fingers Impatiently

I stood up and checked my time then sat back down

"Dude they left a few minutes ago,you are already sweating like a goat,well handsome goat"

She shined her 32

I frowned at her

She giggled

"You hot when you angry ...So she is still a co_worker?,when are you going to confess to her"

I ignored her again

"Look am a lady,I can help you get her if you what.."

I looked at her 

She raised her eyebrows continuously giving me a look

I quietly sat down

"Really seriously,you want to go for her,I mean even Beyonce,  Queen bey won't turn you down if she's single,she's not much of a beauty you know,you can have someone better"

"You said you going to help me"

I replied throwing those last words of hers nto the trash

"This is my number call me with it I will explain"

She gave me a card and winked

"You can just tell me here"

"Am smarter than that darling"she replied and smiled broadly at me

I frowned back at her and took the card

"We  should probably check them out,Andre told me he wanted a quickie, maybe they're quicking in there,now calm down she's just a co worker you know,who happens to meet her ex and after that emotional drama ,she feel sorry for him,then he might sugarcoat his words,which can get her emotional then can result to a very rough earthquaking quickie"

She Chuckled

She's really a crazy lady

I rushed towards the direction, looking for them

She followed me like a puppy

"Check the restroom"she suggested

My fist tighten

**BEAUTY'S POV**

"Am sorry beauty,eversince we broke I realize you are the best friend I ever had,I did all that to make you feel bad, and am sorry,I lost you and I know I post someone who loved me with her whole heart and a rare gem,I know I stand no chance to complete with that Bruno over you,but I really miss you.."

Those words brought tears onto my eyes

"We had the most beautiful moment of my life then"

I replied

"I wish I can turn back time beauty,I won't let anything get in-between us"

I stare at him,he looked so sincere

He sobbed and held my hand

"Please beauty,will you ever forgive me?

"I already have andre"

He leaned closer

My heart raced

I closed my eyes,Bruno image flashed in my dark sight,he was the only person in my mind

I heard a sharp sound,and quickly opened it 

Only to find Andre lying on the floor grabbing his tummy

"Bruno,what did you do?

"What are you planning on doing to her?"

He screamed at Andre

Stacy found it amusing,she should be defending her lover

Andre is really more unlucky than me

"Stop it Bruno!!"

I screamed back

He stood up and stare at me angrily

"You are about to kiss him?"

I felt like an idiot when he asked me that

That's when I realized how cheap I have been

Andre  got up and fought back but it's useless

This time Bruno didn't even touch him,he stood staring like me motionless

He continued hitting Bruno,the security came and took him away ,Stacy left with him

"Call me.. Bruno"

She whispered  , showing the call me hand sign,and left

We both stood there frozen staring at eachother

"You have no right to ask me that question!"

I started,my fingers shaking nervously

"Am sorry I didn't mean to make you cry"he replied with his calmest voice

He replied looking at the floor

"Oh please an not crying,am only angry ,Andre was my boyfriend and you just abused him"

I said cleaning off my face roughly

"I was worried about you"he replied calmly again

"I don't need you to worry about me,billions of girls out there will be glad if you do it for them,am not stupid okay,the earlier you tell me what you really want from me the better for the both of us"

I snapped back

He was silent

I know I sound stupid,even though I loved Bruno more than my three past boyfriends,am scared if I give room for him in my heart,a man like him is definitely a heart breaker,I won't survive it

"Am not good with words beauty,I care about you more than anything"

He replied still not looking up

"I understand that,that's why you kissed me back then if I didn't stop you,you will have your way and then vanish"

I sobbed loudly

His eyebrow squeezed into a frown

He looked up,my heart skipped

"That was my first kiss,I don't care if you don't believe me,I agree I was rude and careless,I might have reacted so much,I apologise for all this,let's forget it ever happened please ,thanks"

I stood there crying silently,those words aren't even threatening but they scare me

As soon as he left I felt this huge void

My phone ranged,it starled me

I checked the caller it's Jessi

I quickly wiped my face and answered

"I have been calling you for hours,where re you ,the CEO won't take it likely with you,also do you know where Bruno is,he....

I hung up without letting her finish
