Le Faye watched from the window of her classroom as Lucas came to pick up Maya from the classroom.

He had stopped coming for months now since after the incident that happened between them at the dressing room during the school's party. Instead, he sent his workers instead and some of them usually came to pick this daughter on his behalf.

He had always been in the news and for the wrong reasons as well.

It seemed like a never ending cycle. He had a bad reputation especially after his drinking saga but she had plans she wanted to use and turn the people back to him, a week before the election day, which was a week to come.
