The intimidation cutting across the meeting was glaring and felt by Faye.

She quietly observed how the power dynamics was playing and at how the other women let Genevieve make all the decisions without uttering a word to dispute her suggestions, whether they liked it or not.

"We're set then, the children won't be performing on the school's annual party. We shouldn't stress them. They are still kids and shouldn't be made to face the humiliating eyes of the crowd that'd judge them.
