Chapter 139 SNEAKING IN

Izzabelle drove her superbike at a fast speed heading towards the Hopkins Sanctuary. She took the fastest and nearest route that she could trail to hasten her arrival. She couldn't afford to get late for another hour or the whole state would turn upside down.

Marcus and Ethan would probably inform her fellow officers if she delayed her arrival for another couple of hours. There's no way she would allow them to find her that way! The elders might be bothered by her absence too. She wouldn't try to risk her parent’s health for her carelessness and selfishness.

Marcus had been used to her only-2-hours routine to fight before but now something unexpected happened on her way back. She also assumed that Marcus was now probably panicking his ass out for her delayed arrival.
