WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE?

The cemetery was quiet as it should be. The somber atmosphere settled over the cemetery like a weighted veil. They both came down from the car at the same time with their flower in hand. Megan heard the distinct sound of the car being locked but her attention wasn't on the car. Julie moved to where she was standing and held her hands, Megan looked down at their entwined hands and up to her face where she wore a slight smile. They stepped through the wrought-iron gates, and the crunch of gravel sounded beneath their feet. They were not the only ones in the cemetery, other people were there, mostly dressed in black just like she and Julie were.

The sound of the outside world was muffled when they entered through a door that led to a big field where the graves were.
