"I'm sorry, Leo." She said in a soft voice. "I did not mean to shout at you like that. Please forgive me." She rested her head on his broad back and her hands were on his chest. The water from the rainfall shower poured on her and Leo, drenching them.

"It's no problem. I wasn't angry at you."

"You were. I could see it all over you."

"I was angry at myself for not knowing that you were feeling that way. Does the accident remind you of Brandon? Is that why you were triggered whenever I mentioned it?"

"Yes. It reminded me of him sometimes. I wanted to bury those memories and cover them up with good ones. I don't want to remain in the past anymore. I want to build a future, with you." She confided.

Leo turned around and faced her. He cupped her cheek and stroked it lightly, she closed her eyes and leaned into his touch.

"Are you sure of what you said?"

"I am sure. I want to make more memories with you, happy ones."

"I am not perfect, Megan."

"Neither am I. We would work it out, together."
