Megan's eyes slowly opened, and she found Leo over her; his face was a mask of relief, and there was something else in his expression; it was anger. Of course, she knew she fucked up hence the reason why he was angry, and she could not blame him. If she were him, she would have also blamed herself and be angry too. She heard him saying something, but she could not fathom what he was saying; his voice sounded muffled. He quickly rushed out. She took notice of her environment. She was in a private room she could not recognize, and she noticed that it was a hospital room. She slowly took in her surroundings from the sound of the beeping machine to the muffled sounds coming from the corridor. Seconds later, Leo came in with her doctor. The same doctor that has been treating her since the day she got sick. That alone confirmed her suspicions that she had been discovered, even her sickness too. She has a lot of explaining to do.
