HEALING PHASE.

It has been a week. A whole freaking week and her recovery has been her priority. She did not let herself think about anything else except recovering, which had not been easy at all; the pain was not little at all. It hurt like hell, she has never felt that amount of discomfort and pain for a long time. It felt so new but with the help of painkillers, the pain was bearable. She had to manage a regimen of pain medications, which normally left her feeling groggy and disoriented at times.

Simple tasks like sitting up, walking, and even breathing deeply cause her pain and anguish but she was able to face it with the help of her family. Her father has always been there for her and even Julie has practically been working from her hospital room. She did not feel lonely with their constant presence, and it was comforting to know that there were still people by her side, people who would be with her through it all. Unlike some other people whom she did not want to think about right now.
