The cemetery was quiet as it should be. The somber atmosphere settled over the cemetery like a weighted veil. They both came down from the car at the same time with their flower in hand. Julie moved to where she was standing and held her hands, Megan looked down at their entwined hands and up to her face where she wore a slight smile. They stepped through the wrought-iron gates, and the crunch of gravel sounded beneath their feet.
