ARRIVED

“On my way home, we will talk later, love you”.

Angela replied and sent the message to Antonio.

She sighed deeply after delivering the message, staring at the window deep in thought.

As the cab lurched to a stop, Angela gasped and blinked absentmindedly then slowly she looked out of the window.

She sighed and stood to her feet, her body heavy with exhaustion and sadness.

She paid the cab driver and made her way out of the cab, her eyes fixed into space, her mind consumed by thoughts of what would happen next.

She entered the elevator to the last floor, which is a penthouse, brain calculating fast as she pressed the button for the penthouse floor.
