CHAPTER 64

**Cassie’s POV**

Being with Derek is inevitable. Aside from being my boss, which eventually led me to see him every single day except if he did not bother me during my day off, I still see him, and he still goes to my apartment like it is his second house.

But he suddenly got an appointment again in Hong Kong, and I can't be with him on his business trip since I am a single mother to my son and I have to take care of him. It is okay if Charlie has no schooling, but he is attending class, so it is a no for me.

Besides, he will be gone for a couple of months, and I will be in a work-from-home situation. It is his suggestion, by the way. He said that it would be better if I worked in a much safer environment, away from those two-faced office workers.
