~3RD PERSON'S POV~

~Mystic Meadow~

Herculia still sat in front of the door. Her hands were still cuffed together, and she looked like she was about to fall asleep. Dark sacks had formed beneath her eyes, and her throat felt dry.

No maid had come by to give them food or water since Mary locked them inside the room, and they had no way of communicating with anyone as it was very unlikely that a maid would venture into this part of the building.

Herculia let out a long groan and rested her forehead on the door. “Mary’s not coming back, is she? I'm so thirsty. Aren't you thirsty, Ezekiel?” She asked softly.

“That’s the least of my worries right now,” Ezekiel's voice sounded after a few seconds. Herculia quickly turned around and found Ezekiel trying to rearrange the bandage that was tied around his wound. The bandage was now soaked in his blood, and blood dripped from it down to the ground, and ran from the wound along his right arm.
