Chapter 70

Baxter's pov

*While in search of the oracle*

I went closer to the rock and came across a dusty rock on the side of the rock, placing down my bag on the ground. I observed around the place to check how it it.

It was just moody and there was no sound, it was an island and I was here alone.

I sat down on the rock in order to rest for a while because I was exhausted from the journey here. It was a very long one and one that I had only went on.

My stomach made some crumble sounds and immediately, I had remembered that I had not eaten for a while day.

I murmured to myself because of this, I forgot to take care of my belly while I was seeking for answers.

I pulled out my hand In my bag and searched for some packed bread that was kept in my bag, I took it out and brought out a jar of water.

I ate the bread and drank only water as I waited for any sign but I did not see one and I thought that maybe I should wait a little bit longer.
