Chapter 47B

Monica's pov

*While in exile*

I moved closer to one of the rooms to take a closer look at it, but no one was there. I had to move further to check more of the rooms that were lined up in the area.

I was not really okay, but I had to do this for the sake of my friend, as it would be very important for me to find out if she was okay or not.

I moved towards the third room, and then immediately I heard a movement, and I knew that she would be there. I had to increase my pace to get to where she was and meet her.

As fast as I could, I quickly made my way to the third room, and all of a sudden, I had to hit my leg on a metal object that was stuck in my way, and I did not notice it.

It was so strong that I tripped over it and fell down. I hit my back on the floor, and it really hurt. Still, I managed to get up and get going. I have to finish my movement before anything happens.
